Actually that is to high. I’ve seen them go for less and look better. You don’t jump on it so fast you let the price come down. Some people just don’t wait they have no patience.
i thought a glider was a fairly new concept in the last 5 years or so and most come thru a dealer or fitzgerald .short hood sleeper would be better visibility to me but that low sleeper wouldn't be worth it unless it was for naps waiting during the day on days trips.
Actually I like short hoods better with regular Pete bumper and little bit bigger stacks and short wheel base , so much easier to backup and get around in tight places .
Love going to RB, the one in Maryland tho. I'm like a kid in a candy store. So many stories can be told with the equipment there. I drool whenever I see a 359 or W900A, twin stick.
The company I work for bought some old Penske trucks for local shuttle work. They had very crappy white paint sprayed on it, but you lift the hood and look underneath you can still see the yellow.

I have a hard time passing a Waffle House I am hearing that new trucks are hard to come by with manufacturing taking a hit with the current pandemic. If this is true is it driving up used prices? I would love to run the yellow truck but.......California doesn’t let us run Yellow engines 🤦
388 model hood longer than 379 short hood. 6NZ stopped in 02 and MBN bridge engine took over before BXS came out. Bridge engine had liner problem where top of flange broke off. Cat screwed up few of them and liner also was used in replacement cyl paks. So much fun checking date code on bottom of liners. Bridge engines had issue cracking turbo and manifold had wrong FLS/FTS numbers. Or should say it burnt center divider out. BXS very first few had wrong software, broke upper turbo bolts, lower turbo mount bracket to block and inner cooler leaks. Then fun with all IVA oil lines
My Uncle is a GM man he has one rule: Never ever buy , lease or rent a first time new or redesigned GM vehicle. Buy it in the last year of its design .
Service trucks and such definitely do go for a lot of money, Especially trucks with lots of hydraulics, winches, etc. My new 2021 rollback was about 140k, that's for a t270 kenworth.
I would paint it charcoal gray with little bit lighter charcoal gray early to mid seventys factory striping with red pinstripes around them and the flint creek logo , yep it would look great
Easiest way to tell long hood from short hood is at the front fender arch bottom rear. Long hoods have a small panel extension right there. Short hoods its just the arch. No little panel.
