This is literally the marine corps way of training. We have martial arts training where we do extremely fatiguing exercises. Sprints, fireman carries, tire flips, burpee’s etc. until everyone is whipped, I mean like 1 hour to 2 hours straight whipped. Then we start the martial arts portion. The moto is basically pain retains. In esports it’s probably the same. Hence why aim training after a good gym workout would be beneficial. Also noticed something, with the adding pressure. I notice 99% of people playing deathmatch play the same route everyday. If you intentionally make the path you take different every spawn. it makes it 10x harder and the routes you'd normally destroy on all of a sudden is a lot harder to. Maybe this is a way to make deathmatch a lot more effective in translating into competitive.
I haven't watched the video yet but I found that practicing a certain mechanic 30-90 minutes before going to sleep then getting a good 7.5 - 9hrs of sleep improves your mechanics like crazy.
agreed! been doing this for years, i've always recommended it to friends, but none of them believed me until trying it. It's almost like your brain keeps it fresh on the mind and just "burns" it into your muscle memory.
Notes: 1: Exercise with HIIT to break a sweat and get tired, and combine it with aim training to enhance the effect of practice. 2. Play competitive ranked games while streaming under pressure to perform. This way, we can achieve peak improvement!
Wow B!!! You read my mind for 2 weeks... I was thinking why my mechanics suck in Valorant eventhough im grinding Aimlab and DMs. This video is exactly for me because as IGL, I take in so much information and my mechanics goes down to the point I bottom frag and I do not clutch (scrims or tournaments) as often I would if I was just playing rank. Thank you for this, I will be practicing under pressure from now on
Good to see you in the comments man! And I think this tactic will help a ton with managing mechanical skills while trying to use your working memory for IGL responsibilities!
@@eathletelabs Absolutely yes, like the all the videos you published so far, which also inspired myself as creator. I feel like your content is forward with the times; it will be even more precious when the overall gaming scene will get more mature in regards of training.
@@atomic4405 check out mind smash on youtube but I'd say the easiest way is setting an intention to enter it plain and simple and just 'letting go' which is hard at first but u don't need to strain it it will happen naturally
@@atomic4405 the easiest way to enter it, at least for someone that's for the average person is to go for a fairly intense workout and then meditate right after and that releases the right amount of neurochemicals to get you into a flow state
i never thought i could be running low on focus on the game due to overstimulation of my ability to think, its been happening but i guess i just haven't thought it through that much
Great video. I personally get a lot of performance anxiety and have been working on it. Quick question - Have you looked into beta blockers? I started experimenting using over the counter product (l-arginine) which opens up blood flow reducing blood pressure and anxiety. Would love to know if you know anything about this!
In theory, it can help with motor skill precision under pressure, although I'm not sure if there would be side effects that would affect higher-order thinking. I imagine the benefits and negatives would vary depending on the person. But a very interesting idea to consider! If you gain any insights from your experiment feel free to DM me on discord about it, I'm very curious.
Ok now it makes sense why i always perform my best when im tired and ready to sleep. I stop overthinking and caring and my aim becomes autonomous and crisp. I dont know how to get into that zone any other way tho :/ I struggle with confidence and it affects my aim a lot.
I know this is an issue. It's why i don't play as well with certain people. (The ones who yell at everyone and blame others for every little mistake whether it's theur fault or not.) Missed your voice bro...I am struggling with improving in PUBG mobile I don't know why I forget the drills I just trained before the matches in TDM then I get a little frustrated
Sorry to disturb you but It would be amazing if you could answer my questions . So i saw your" how to choose an eSport game " where you gave the example of CSGO and valorant and how one should play both for sometime before making a Choice.now in my case I have bought my first PC yesterday and I'm really impressed by battlefield, cod, csgo, pubg, apex , valorant and rainbow six siege.now my question to you is that should I explore every single game one by one or just directly jump into the games that have a good reputation /favourable factors?like should I just start csgo instead of Pubg because pubg has rng factors and lacks a proper elitist system.? Exploring all these games would take around 1000hours(100 per game) and wouldn't that be a waste of time ?
tip: go into a game and tell everyone they couldn't beat you even if they tried, then t-bag them everytime you kill them to get their competetive side out, it's that easy
I did this by accident awhile when fortnite was still good I was the worst in the friend group then I became so good when they all targeted me (before I realized most of them were bad people) I would win the 1 v7
Brother, I know I'm being a little bit selfish. BUt Ramazan is around the corner i definitely don't want to lose my gains in gaming. Can you make a video on that? HOw to adjust during Ramadan?
Are you going to have to stop playing altogether during this time? If so the best method for maintaining skill without practice would be a daily visualization practice (visualizing training your skills)!

So... we can perform better under pressure by practicing also under pressure??? Is that what this is saying? I'm confused. It feels sometimes if you could just elaborate again on the biggest points at the end of the vid it would really help.
To hone a specific skill we use drills that focus on that one skill. This in itself is great. But adding some pressure or challenge to that drill to force your working memory to work harder will make the skill easier to use when your in-game later on.

It's why i don't play as well with certain people. (The ones who yell at everyone and blame others for every little mistake whether it's theur fault or not.)
It's also why i tend to do better when playing solo in games.
As a group we usually figure out what we could do differently next time. And if not i always do that afterwards.
