LOADED PGNX (Progress Energy) Coal Train - Big AC Power & New Autoflood Hoppers

- While our layout mostly models Norfolk Southern, we still see some CSX trains in our neck of the woods. Here, we've modeled a modern CSX coal train with 2 Overland Models GE AC44/AC60 Locomotives. While there are some prototype sounds overlaid on the video, the horn, bell, and underlying locomotive sounds are all custom and coming from an ESU LokSound 5 Decoder. A big thank-you to Lombard Hobbies for such an easy pre-order process and quick shipping!!
Thanks for watching!

Lombard Hobbies: best in the business.
I love it! I always have to remind myself this is a layout and not real.
What, no DPU? Your slackin' man! LOL! Great video with some nice looking locos and sweet coal cars. Love the sound!
It was great meeting you at Devine Junction this afternoon. I just posted the video of NS 192 with the SD70ACC DPU>

Yes!! Super awesome vid! Love your content man, always happy to see a new video out
nice epic layout
I Josh, what's up?
I'm an italian child and I'm 13 years old.
I recently started to build my own switching layout, but I began watch your video 3 years ago.
I've always admire all your layout and watched it with astonishment, because you created an enormous and super detailed recreation of the real life railway.
I started love american railways when I watched Unstoppable.
My favorite railway is Norfolk Southern.
Can you give me some advices?
Bye,
Nick
P.S. I am using my grandma's mobile😅
Like those csx coal trains n like the how sound is so realistic
Most of the sound is overdubbed from a real train.
@@beeble2003 and that's the best way to do it
Awesome cant wait for the next upload
Awesome video!!
Superb
Some good looking models. Still waiting on the UtahBelt videos
You know, if you left the music out, this could almost be a relaxing ASMR-like video.
Nicely done but you need to add more grime to the locomotive to be CSX
Hey, I watched the yard operations video you posted a while back and I really want to know how you uncouple you couplers.
whats your favorite railroad
where did you get the AEPX decals?
CSX is the bomb! Does NS have a Santa train? No they don’t. CSX cares.
Not about their employees
@@tbb236 what employer does? I was referring more to public relations.
What happen to the Utah belt? But a great cideo
Had to delay it a week or so, but it's just about done. Should be the next video up!
@@nsmodeler24 ps love your channel
Pls do another roster update
Coming This Christmas! Thanks for the idea!
Josh your CSX locomotives are still too "clean"
Almost turned it off because I was looking for model trains not prototype videos. Too real.
As much as i love ESU. Gosh I hate their flashing ditch lights pattern. It looks horrible.
