Glad the owner and his dog was not hurt bad. That kind of dirt and sand when wet is like quick sand plus it had a suction on it to. Thanks for the video
Thanks Wiley. That was an exciting recovery. I fully expected to see you do a "Will it start" once it was set upright and then to see you assist by driving it out on one track while the other excavator helped guide it out of the hole. Great video.
Wiley, Jacob and your whole group is amazing! I wouldn’t have guessed it possible to see that ever getting out of what looked like its final resting place but you all did it -Wow! You might have to rename your channel, Wiley’s impossible rescues!
A bunch of dedicated Fellas in this one. They all earned their pay on this job. "Letsdig18" has some pretty cool recovery videos if this type stuff interests you. I'm pretty sure one of his most watched videos in an excavator buried bout in the slap middle of a pond dig.
Thank you for sharing this, Mud doesn't like to give up her prey. I am glad the owner and his dog made it out ok. As always Sir I liked and shared. Love your channel. All my very best to you and yours. May God bless.
Thanks for an exciting video Wiley. It was super interesting and enjoyable. Wow and wow and wow. They got that out of there. Tough work. Didn’t know if it was going to come out or not. My hats off to these crane workers for getting it out of there. They did good!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wiley, let us know the outcome. Going to be fixed or not or whatever the outcome is. You mentioned some interest in it. Lots to get it going again I believe. Thanks for sharing with us. Thanks Wiley. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
The old timer in the kamatsu saved the day ! Once he buried rhe bucket and used the hydraulics instead of traction he walked it right out ! I knew wiley wasnt gonna be in that mud hole and i dont blame him one bit !!!
I’ve been at this awhile… not as long as Wiley; but 30 plus years. “Poor people have poor ways” doesn’t apply here by the looks of the neighborhood…. “Cheap people have shitty ways” definitely does though. Building WHATEVER on your property with a clapped out Kobelco; hobbling on one foot 🤣🤣 The ‘ol boy won’t do it again I bet!!! Good video!
Hello there. Iv seen the under side of many machines. We repair them and salvage them as well. It looks to me like he should have had bog mats to be working there in the first place.
a real good wash, pull the glow plugs to get the water out of the cylinders and put the other track back on...a honest day and a half maybe 2 of work ..i've been wrenchin for over 40 years so that would be my to do list
Great job by all involved and a special note to the backhoe driver and all the men who don't mind getting dirty to get the job done.. Now I am wondering how much that little accident cost.
spay is off real good and pull the glow plugs to empty out the water in the cylinders, put it back together and wah lah...diesel engines can take a beating..ole boy said the other track was over yonder so maybe he can get it back on too..
The granddad save the day on this one I can't believe the first guy with the first excavator beat and banged the excavator cab motor everything down into the mud and water
Hey Wiley isn't Hank looking for a cheap excavator lol😅😅😅😅,would be a good project for his channel .Thanks mate interesting never seen an excavator in such a predicament Cheers Kym Adelaide
LOL Should have sold it to him he could have used the TYM,Skid steer and LULL to snatch that thing out Or we would have had 4 pieces in the drink one Thanks for watching.
Good Lord, I’d hate to be the guy in that swamp hooking up those chains, lol he was covered in clay, poor guy, guess someone had to do it, well Don , you all got it out, pressure wash it , and see what all the damage is. Hope it’s all worth buying, I’m glad you didn’t get in that mud Don, that was too much for men our age, I was worried for a while if they was gonna get it out, without big cranes. Have a great one Don😮😮😮🙂🙂😎😎👍👍🍮🍮🍮🙏🙏❤️
Check the winch cable on the drum when they pulled that other truck out they may have let the cable go in over top of itself and bunch up and seize it from going further. They might be best letting it spool out by itself or use another vehicle to add some pull power. It may be when they get enough of it out then they can reel it back on the drum without climbing on top of itself.
Why didn't he level spot off where he could go around and hook to where it did not have a track on it and set it up with ease I don't understand what y'all was doing but it didn't make sense to me😢

Well I can say I've never seen a recovery like this in order to get a machine brought back over you need anchors and another machine to pull on the main part of the exevator over
Clearly these guys don't do recovery operations for a living. If you watch the Ron Pratts, Pepe's or Al Quiring's doing their recoveries, you always see them describe a plan on how they are going to get the equipment or vehicle out. They also use MUCH bigger Chains LOL! In one VERY comparable recovery Al Quiring had three D9's with Winches attached to the excavator and struggled even with that. Here the initial efforts were clearly doomed as that excavator wasn't going to be dragged along on it's side with a track down in the soft and soggy ground by a single hoe. It might even have done more harm than good digging that track even deeper into the muck. Wily even said: "I bet he regrets getting into this one." Now on the flip side, it makes for good watching, and huge props for not giving up and getting it out upright and with little if any additional damage!! Now to see if Wily can get it running. 🙂
What happened to the track? There is only one track on the machine! Maybe you should give it a second thought, and just start shoveling dirt on it and Buried it where it LAY'S 😅

Great to see Dad out of Hanks shadow
Kids hear worse at school and on the busses
Should have made ramp and put timbers under it before they even turned it up...wow.

Wonderful video Wiley, thanks for sharing this adventure.
Thank you for watching
Wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't lost a track great video thanks Wylie and Jacob
Why would anyone drive a machine with just one track surprise it even rolled.
Thanks

Don't know why they didn't just get Hank & let him talk it out of there !
Hank can sing to them
🤣
That big Branson tractor would have brought it up outa that hole
Hank was busy telling himself how good he is
Would have taken only about 2 bad jokes and the machine Would have stood up and ran away lol

You wanted to be on the side where the machine went over. Get hold of the heavy part or track frame.

Wily that was a tough one they did a great job tho
Lifting up on boom an stick area seems. Sketchy. Like your gonna bend something else.
You need to watch letsdig18 and take notes on Chris's recovery of excavators
I do watch him
He is just better at it
Nice work.
Thanks!
Might be feasible to pump out some of that water..

Yep, it got stuck good!
You need to add a will it start and operate after recovery!
