I ran one just like that for a looooong time! Got a brand new one 2 years ago. No comparison. I laid down to go to sleep a lot of nights and could still hear that machine screaming. Damn it was loud
This is for Jacob, In the back sides of that truck are built in slots on each side. cut a 2X6 and drop it in, no matter how hard you hit the brakes it don't move
I worked over 30 years in hvac industry & recognized the plug in solenoid valve in the storage drawer. We used them on air compressor tank drains. Plug into 120 volt & set the 2 dials. One for how often it activates & one for how long it stays open. This would keep moisture blown out of the tank automatically. We piped with a bypass around it so tank could be drained if solenoid failed. Control air in hvac can NOT have moisture in it
I know it might be a chore, but you could move those tires in for transporting it. the local tree service near us got the contract to maintain the power line right if ways. they bought a brand new Kershaw Klipper.
Wiley you and Jacob are doing an awesome job of getting all those old pieces of equipment back running and helping someone sell the equipment those machines are tricky to operate
It would be neat to have one of those. I've watched them clearing the right of way and those guys are so precise with those machines, they can extend that boom and cut a twig off at 200 feet. Thanks for sharing Wily!
Excellent video Wiley 👍👍👍👍👍 that is amazing that old Kershaw started up quickly. Its got a very good engine in it, love the content 👍 awesome stuff Wiley 👍👍👍👍👍 Its always great to hang out with you Wiley 👍👍👍👍👍
Do not retire Wiley All you need is some bondo and a shot of Marvelouse Mysyery oil every morning.😂❤😊. You and Hank are ether bunnies kick start jump start and pull start❤😂😊.
Thank u for another wonderful video I enjoy all of ur videos more than hank with Hamilton farms but I do watch the videos when ur part of his videos sorry if it sounds mean but ur videos are more interesting and I enjoy ur sarcasm as well and when ur silly too 😊❤
Wiley that wasn't a bolt cuter it was for pruning trees limbs ,well you did quite all right without hank messing things up you got it running and functioning
I’m a truck driver for a steel company in Birmingham. We deliver steel to the factory in Montgomery Alabama. They have new ones sitting out front all the time . Not Much has changed as far as the design
Thanks for another great video Wiley and Jacob. It was interesting that is for sure. Never seen a machine like that before. Kind of unusual. Seems someone could use it. Seems to run good. Look at all the parts snd stuff that is there. The owner should just have an auction and sell all that stuff off and get the money out of it. Thanks Wiley and Jacob for getting it running and telling people about it. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Wily, you were saying he wants $20k.Before I retired in 2021,We had a new 2020 Skytrim and my company paid around $225k.So,I'd say $20k is reasonable..Also,the newer ones have CAT engines in them. They are also now fully enclosed with heat and A/C.
I'd certainly have use for it.. but I'm in Ireland! So i don't think I'll ever own it. We operate circular saws like this on big tractors on contract for the electrical company. Very tricky work and need to know how to operate them because they can be extremely dangerous. The insurance is high on them. We typically charge € 100 - €120 per hour.
Excellent job there Wiley and Jacob As always the 2 of you make a great team, seen several things that I'd like to buy Gods Blessing be with the 2 of you and your families always Looking forward to seeing your next video, until then remain safe my friends
@@DontbeWily Yeah, now I always enjoy watching you know. And it helps me out a lot because I've been having severe stomach issues and watching. Your videos really has been helping me get through it. Because I don't know what is going on with my current health. So you guys have really helped me out to get through this plus I love autumn mechanics a bunch. And learning about it. I've always been in the big trucks. Construction machines and all that because my dad. Yeah, my dad is a construction guy, so it's always been nice to learn about these machines. And once I noticed the videos you guys do. It has always been an interest and seeing what you guys do it really? Sparked my interest, so keep it up.
Hey Wiley , another success ,would like your patients and knowledge , I've been working on a Catipallar 416 backhoe ,has a external electric fuel pump hooked up , is that because the injector pump is broken. I also have a McCormick that started cutting off ,made sure all lines and tank was clear. Hand primer pump would not work. Electric fuel pump got me going. Thought that was the cheapest to do. Am I messing up .
If I visit the states its out to visit you guys an help you wt those machines. Iv got a job backhoe mixing the water an oil, big job ahead I fear. I'm in tipperary ireland, keep up the good work

Does she have any 6068 John Deere engines in any of the equipment she would want to sell? I love the channel and I hope the UA-cam algorithm kicks in for you and you get many, many more subscribers.
Hello Willey & Jachob: you sure lived up to your name with the door.Jachob even asked you if you wanted the door blocked open. So next time maybe you should take a Don't Be Willey moment and either, clean the windshield or block the door open. This viewer wants to see lots more episodes not a Grand Finally running into a Tree.
Those were not bolt cutters, they WERE some awesome cable cutters
Your doing what you love! No need to retire! Hang in there, your doing great!
Thank you
Contact Matt over at diesel Creek he would probably be interested in the content of the trailer all the fittings hoses and machine
I ran one just like that for a looooong time! Got a brand new one 2 years ago. No comparison.
I laid down to go to sleep a lot of nights and could still hear that machine screaming. Damn it was loud
Ran Detroit's in a lot of heavy equipment for yrs now that is loud
I've ran both a newer Skytrim and a newerJarraff.I'd like to take some features off of both of them and make one machine lol.
Thank you sharing.
We use to run Detroits in logging equipment. Sometimes i can still hear lt too
Yes
Your the type person that engineers need to listen to .
Nice video. It’s great that you have the background to get in something you’ve never operated before and be able to get it demoed.
Thanks for watching!

The lady has inherited a gold mine of parts. I would put a cutting head and a coat of paint on the machine you just started. Double the value.
Wouldn't be worth losing someone u loved and was your partner for fifty yrs not for any gold mine
😊Hello Wiley great
Great job on getting that machine running God bless and stay safe
I run one everyday I love the old sky trims !!
Price just went up 😊
Great video that’s an awesome machine and it’s ready to do some work.

Great video! I am amazed at your ability to get these machines running
Thank you. I really am amazed how some of these machines just start right up after 4-5 yrs of sitting idle
That was a copper cable cutter not a bolt cutter 😮 no good anymore!
I now know that.

You took the words right out of my mouth!
I has an Altec 50 ft boom that was set up for electric line work and you are correct the orange hose is non conductive .
At least it doesn't have trees growing out of it 😂
Lol
Thanks for watching
Orange hydraulics lines are non-conductive line. Made specifically for power line applications.

🎉😂 This is a will it run.... Yes, sir, it will....
Like a rabbit....😂😂.....JJ...😊
Thanks for getting back with me, now I have to figure out what a lift pump is .
Fuel line goes into it from tank. And it strokes by timing or cam shaft.
It puts the proper amount of fuel to pump
It started moved on its own and a great operator well done 👍👋🇨🇦
Wiley, what happened to Hank. Haven’t seen him lately!
Wily, you were saying he wants $20k.Before I retired in 2021,We had a new 2020 Skytrim and my company paid around $225k.So,I'd say $20k is reasonable..Also,the newer ones have CAT engines in them. They are also now fully enclosed with heat and A/C.
