I know of no one that preaches like this man of God today . What a passion what conviction every sermon was brought forth from prayer and time spent in the presence of God . He wasn’t afraid of offending anyone he preached in obedience to God ! May men of God follow after this pattern today because this generation is in dire need of the Word and the anointing!

That is why God selects the remnant of the last days as the voice. Who now shouts from the rooftops? Especially today as the church has become so quiet and we live in that world wide fear that is prophesied of as well as the final one which is the mark of the beast. Yet no church doors have blown open to shout out and prepare those who need to hear even if they forbare what is said. You are called to be that voice today.

I was praying one night, and I am no prayer warrior, but a very weak vessel and I sensed God tell me 'I am a jealous God and I want it to be just you and me as it use to be.' I want it to be that way again too. I neglected Jesus, tried to do things on my own at times, spent less time in earnest prayer and thanksgiving and becoming more independent without realising. What a mistake to make. He drew me back to Him and broke me by my own foolishness. I don't want Jesus to ever feel I have neglected Him ever again and put Him second. He has to be first and foremost. Amen.
I'm so thankful for these tapes of Pastor David. He had such a decernig gift to explain the word of God.They have helped me understand and grow so closer to the Lord.

What’s important in your life, beloved, that you feel you cannot do without? For me, it was sex. Having gone without it for 3 years now, I can tell you absolutely God delivered me from that sin, because I needed Him to, and asked Him to, in all faith. I couldn’t do it on my own... I was so lost...so take whatever it is in your heart, and give it to God, ask Him to deliver you, and then believe He will... and do not pick up whatever it is again... that’s your part... search your heart... Yes We All Saints Must Guard Our Affection with Our Lord Yeshua Jesus!
To love the LORD, to fear the LORD, and to seek the LORD and his Christ is to bless your own soul, and is a way wherein there is no vanity.
The difference with David Wilkerson over preachers today is that he feared God more than man, he didn't care to fit in anywhere, he cared more to walk with God even if it meant he would be on his own. While I've heard some good preaching in my short 5 years as a Christian, it's brother DW who knew God in a very deep way and He showed that in his preaching and the way he encouraged others. His preaching is serious, firm, convicting and yet so encouraging and edifying at the same time and everyone gets something from his message because he let's God move through him and that is I believe what is lacking in the church today. Men are so fixed on their traditions.
Do not make peace with my sin.
Let me always remember my First Love, Lord Jesus Christ.

I was so sadden when I heard the news that he got killed in 2011. He was our prophet for our time for sure though he would not like to be called so. I don't like it when men today call themselves prophets. True humble men don't label themselves that. Bro. Wilkerson will always be a great man in my book.
I don't know about any of you but the last 2-3 months it's as if there is an extreme battle for my mind. In all my 21 years of walking with the our Lord, what in the world!? I don't mean just the enemy, what is Abba doing!?? Lord have mercy.

I left a church where the pastor when you would have a conversation with him he would not take his eyes off my chest, I always dress modest never show cleavage. My disernment of him he was in to pornography. All the churches I have gone to in 27 years (5) 3 had affairs,one the church split, one very liberal. My husband and I haven't been to church in 5 years,we read our bible together and do Sunday service with Pastor David Wilkerson or other Pastor that teach the truths. I have been in a ladies bible study they are extremely liberal and I can't agree with them on many issues. I cannot compromise, I just will not, not on blatant sin!
I was alot like you. In my opinion there was no congregation that was right. But then I wondered if that was the enemy speaking, trying to keep me out of a local church body. I think when you're strong enough to go back you would probably bless any congregation you choose to fellowship with. I'm not saying that doing home study is wrong at all, there's a time for that. But I do believe there are many out there who would benefit from you becoming active again. They say that if a church lets you down then your faith was in that church, not God. I'm fellowshipping again and I must say there's all sorts of messy things that go on there, but I love them and every time something happens I take it to God deeply in prayer.and trust that He's moving amongst His people.

I am trying to quit smoking cigarettes it's a real problem strong hold I have been smoking since I was 12 years old. I hate that it yellows my teeth and most of all it's a bad example and a Christian. Please pray for me to break this in the name of jesus christ our lord. That’s the devil trying to take you away from Jesus by putting everything possible in your way. Fight him, beloved, by just calling on the Name of our precious Savior from your heart, not your mind. Read The Psalms, and the Book of John...on purpose. DO IT!! Dear M. M, The late Pastor Wilkerson makes clear in his sermon that sin is when we spend more time doing good works than communing with Jesus. God set aside good works for us to do before we were born, yet He never intended them to be our focus. That which we focus on controls our mind. Jesus should be the focus of our day and lives, and we do the good works He previously planned for us when time permits, lest the works become our focus and, in turn, we become the focus, my friend.
@@lindaerwin7320 I agree with you and I totally get what Wilkerson is preaching. Although Jesus does address them as workers of iniquity, the problem is He doesn't "know" them and that word I believe is an "intimate" knowledge that only comes from spending one on one time with Him. Many people claim to know Jesus, but He says He doesn't know THEM. I'm always getting caught up in "doing great things for the Lord". But I feel it... sometimes days will go by and even though I've spent many hours doing works in His name, I haven't spent that one on one time with Him. Yes, David Wilkerson hit the nail right on the head with this one. I wept after listening to this.
Oh so leave our children wanting child saved how can that be loving him more than Jesus. I did nothing nothing nothing I lost first love.till fighting neighbours I asked for change I dont understand how that exclusive demand is not selfish ikeeps coming back its like what's point of loving any one or children i got fed up with constant berating I never complained until 1997 not got helped as single mum before I learned about Jesus he didn't warn about catholic church why he not warn a babe questioning. Look around and be distressed and look within and be depressed look to jesus christ and be at rest. Jesus loves you most, and we must put him first. Relationship is day you ask jesus christ to forgive your sins and to be the lord of your life. It's not what mankind or institutional churches say but it's God in your heart travels with you where ever you are born again child of God in jesus christ he will never leave you nor forsake you he said he will be with us to end of the ages. 2 Timothy 1.7 God has not given us spirit of fear but of love and power and a sound mind. We our more than a conqueror in christ jesus love. God said draw near to him and he will draw near unto you. Let's put jesus first and we will be blessed.
The holy Ghost is not a person that's Jesus breath his spirit which comes from God
The problem with this kind of preaching is that it doesn't actually make you want to love God more. It just makes you feel guilty. Now there's nothing wrong with making someone guilty when they are proud because they need to be humbled and taught a lesson, but for the most part when you are already preaching to the converted there is no need to guilt trip them. What they need is some encouragement. I absolutely detest cookie-cutter christianity. It is so harmful to those who are struggling.
I struggle, I welcome this kind of preaching. It's better to be told the truth now than to be coddled and sugar coated and then Jesus return and we were not prepared.
If it stirs up guilt then address that with the Lord ,that means that you need to examine yourself, don't ignore it.
There are not many pastors that preach this way ,with truth no matter if costs them members of the congregation. Now it's a feel good message to welcome all to church. No conviction of sin.
