Many, if not most get married for purely selfish reasons, even sinful reasons, and even with the facade of involving God when they don’t actually do so.
Then you also have false religions that enforce arranged marriages & secure the practice of polygamy- only for men though of course. Women are treated like trash.
Not all “marriages” are God ordained! Actually, most are not!
