Hydraulic Skidding winch for tractor, compact and homemade!

Hydraulic skidding winch for tractor, we built this capstan winch for retrieving firewood poles. This homemade unit is a great addition to our tractor attachments.

That winch is working perfectly! The best thing about it is you can use a endless amount of rope, also you have the same pulling force from 10' to 1,000' and no doubt you could add any custom ideas to make it fit your needs pretty darn cool 🔥👍

Weld up a bash plate that digs into the ground and it will stop the tractor from moving and give something for the logs to butt up to, and can put chain hooks on it, good vid

This is an Eaton high torque hydraulic motor and I have the smallest capstan pulley attached to it from portable winch company. It works great, has definitely been an upgrade for me!

This is just a high torque hydraulic motor with a capstan pulley on it. Seems to work great!
