    I was also wondering how the skidder would work with a lower HP tractor. Looks like it did a good job! After looking, their sold out again. It looks like preordering is the way to go for anyone interested. Thanks Andrew.

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  9 місяців тому +2

      They keep selling out I've noticed. When I was dragging around to buy mine they were $2999, then they popped up to $3499. After I bought mine they sold out almost immediately. At that price and it being firewood season I can see why.

      Agreed, plus less than half the price of others, and it looks like it's working great for you!

    If you do even a 1in undercut first on logs in the air then cut from the top you dont get that long barber chair and are less likely to pinch your bar.

    Your vids make me think… What do you do with all of the “slash” after you haul out the logs?? Leave it? Pile it? Haul it to a field? Burn it? Chip and mulch??? With a lot of trees down, there’s bound to be a LOT of slash.!!

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  9 місяців тому +1

      I leave most of it to rot in the woods. Piles make great habitat for birds, rabbits and other small animals. On single trees I'll often chip it.
