Same true about Gujaratis. They all want to go abroad! You can't find them even in local low level police constables. Few in military( yes few are there as Jawans) very few in IAS ! IPS, IFS or even low level clerks in Delhi. Even in gujarat govt they are not well represented. Every one wants to go to US etc.

is Canada and there is no dearth of jobs for skilled labour and wages are much better than CLERICAL. The only thing going against all newcomers is the false sense of status and no respect for the dignity of labour. All of us who landed here before 1990 struggled and did all kinds of jobs to reach where we are today. I came here with a gold medal in engineering but with my good friend Johal cleaned tar trucks and made up-to 100 dollars a day in 1980. I have much more respect for our boys who have taken to truck driving and other such jobs and one day they will own their own transport companies. Our Children have a much better hope for future in Canada so please stop advocating the case of losers and wannabe IPS officers.
