So we are working on the drills, which never seems to end! 😆 Currently installing John Deere guidance into these Case 580s and of course things don't go as planned.
those bearings will seize up just when seeding conditions are the best it always happens that way wishing you the best hope you get blessed with a huge crop
🎉 I scrolled through comments and I went back to yours cause I saw 715. I was like wait a minute. That's my area code and thought you were from the same area. But you are talking about the tractor 😊. Have a blessed day
The AG industry really needs to set down a standard for the electrical and monitoring systems. Something to get away from all the yearly wire stringing. Maybe power points at strategic places on the equipment and a blue tooth network?
HELLO MY FRIEND. ALWAYS A PLEASURE SEEING YOUR NEW VIDEOS. KEEP IT UP AND BEING A GOOD HUMAN BEING. MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. BROTHERS AND PARENTS TOO ON THIS YEARS SEASON.
this year we are switching off of that milky color hose for the seed runs and going to that way more flexible hose with the coils in it to prevent cracking , that milky colored stuff lasts 2 yrs at best.
Not sure why you'd want to add a deere guidance system to something that already has a good monitor and guidance system. Why clutter the cab? Would have been better off installing a 2nd 12 display. Also side note. 12 display has to be installed in the tractor to operate the machine. No longer just a display
Haha I agree he's great, but I would expect nothing less after you spend $15k per unit in guidance. They should be "what else can we install for you?" 😂
I was told that Mike farms close to 40,000 acres. It's a huge operation. He has a lot of storage capacity, and looking at the size of his equipment, I can almost believe he is in that 40,000+ acre range.
So how many loader tractors and wheel loaders have you got on all the farms as you sold you're fendt with loader so i assume you have more than just the jd 6125 r
I still don't get how the South Farm works , why do you guys all buy your own equipment for that farm? Why doesn't the farm itself buy the equipment and you guys just split up profits?
I imagine each person involved in the south farm is set up as a corporation separately. That way if one member wants to upgrade equipment, buy land ect it won't affect the other members of the farm. Then they just farm in a partnership. It's actually a smart way if multiple people are involved if a family member splits they are set up if they want to continue farming or can sell out and not affect the rest of the farm.
If you ever wanna scale a farm fast and be efficient this the way to do it as one person ideas and finances does not affect the rest. On our dairy farm, we have two separate divisions, one side runs the dairy and the animals and the other side runs the crops and the ground/fields work. Both sides work underneath the Home farm, but each is divided, and they never cross over.
Those Red tractors look right at home! Very nice machines
I love the 715 quad track it's awesome

Thanks for the update Mike. Just drove from mid-Kansas, through eastern Nebraska and northwest Iowa... about 500 mi, saw two farmers in the field, ha.
Dryer than a popcorn fart in central kansas...4th spring starting in drought
Congrats on 200k subs Mike
I just saw that milestone he passed.Honestly think he will double that with the quality vids he creates
That’s a nice looking 6R
Mike magnifique vidéo et les tracteur case 580 et les grands semoirs et john deere 6120 et chargés et bien équipés et les GPS sont bien 😂😮😅😊
How far equipment has come.Farmers are almost computer gurus nowadays..Have a great planting season..
Can’t believe you put green on those beautiful CaseIH!
Great video Mike
Love the video keep up the great work and can’t wait to see the 715 on the farm in the fall or whenever it comes

On those TOOL BOXES use some foam stick on tape around the bottom where the lid comes down will help along with the rubber gasket it already has
Mike, your one funny guy 😂
Mike is determined to seed in the rain 🌧️ with the addition of those air driers.
Now he only needs guage wheel scrapers
Triples a look sweet on the case tractors
Be interesting to see if there is any difference between the two red tractors with regards to the tyres.
Can wait to see the red in the field out putting the green

Thats what Isobus (Iso11783) is for
I don’t have OCD but that Deere guidance on a case tractor gives me OCD! Surprised you can do it 😂
HELLO MY FRIEND. ALWAYS A PLEASURE SEEING YOUR NEW VIDEOS. KEEP IT UP AND BEING A GOOD HUMAN BEING. MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. BROTHERS AND PARENTS TOO ON THIS YEARS SEASON.
Mike, are you gonna be trying out the new JD 9rx 830 tractor at some point?
I’d put that TP link inside the cab for the intelligent ag to get it out of the weather. Mine are behind the seat and get signal fine.

Hello Mike, CASE 🤔, fendt 👍😜🍻🇮🇹
Deere 6 series tractors are built in Germany, very different design team compared to the 7's 8's and 9's built in Iowa
Can likely do a mechanical work switch to map on jd gen 5. Kinda archaic but it works.
Thank you
To be honest as i saw the beginning of this film first moment i thought its from welker farms…..case ih 😂😂😂😂
I believe that is ILS front end on 6120r
Thanks
Do you use bourgault “eye” where your drills communicate to each other in a field?
Hey Mike why are both Case tractors on the south farm🤔. I thought one tractor stays on the north farm. Greets from a very wet Netherlands.
he wanted to install wiring and monitors at the southern farm.
Why would you not go with the Case IH auto steer ?
Mike you didnt test if the sunroof was laminated😂
You could have at least painted the globe red 😊
Hi Mike. You talked about tuning the 580’s. Is it already done. If so, what are the results? Greets from the Netherlands
uit de fabrieks garantie, wel net zo handig....
What does your dad use the front PTO for? Snowblowing?
When is the hundred foot drill coming? Are they going to let you demo one?
What would a gen 5 monitor with a 1yr subscription alone be worth to u mike
Why the 580 and no quadtrac?
Hi from Australia..
10K acers per drill x5-6 drills running.,. Thats some fucking big average right there...😊
Stay safe...🇭🇲🌾🇨🇦

Do you ever get to a point where you simply trade in the oldest seeder for a new one?
Hey Mike, what brand of bridge did you go with? Looking to do the same to a quadtrac of ours. Thanks

👍
respect to your JD guy for coming out and doing the install on your red tractor.
Haha I agree he's great, but I would expect nothing less after you spend $15k per unit in guidance. They should be "what else can we install for you?" 😂
MIke, for us farmer wannabes , it would be great if you could explain what a mid-row bander is and why it’s needed/used for.
Placing fertilizer between rows of seed
"We're" working on drills hahaha

Hi Mike I’ve got a question how many acres is your family’s farm?
I was told that Mike farms close to 40,000 acres. It's a huge operation. He has a lot of storage capacity, and looking at the size of his equipment, I can almost believe he is in that 40,000+ acre range.
He commented at it being 44,000 acres. That was a couple yrs ago the nth farm has expanded and probably the Sth
So how many loader tractors and wheel loaders have you got on all the farms as you sold you're fendt with loader so i assume you have more than just the jd 6125 r
Pretty much everyone has one 😆
We never see any since you sold the fendt but thought you would need a good few loader tractors
👋😊
Morning
Do you operate your farm independent of your boths or how do you keep everything separated
All farms are 100% separate
@@mikemitchell2554 do you share any equipment or each does their own acreage
@@Raydubbs90 we share some but not much
Would look nice if there wasn’t a case hooked up to it
The ones that don’t change them every year do probably half the acreage you guys do.
Get that tractor to work I am looking at one just cannot pull the trigger green for many years
Case 🥹👍🇳🇴
No wonder batteries on tractors don't last need another alternator and set of batteries just for all the electronics and tablets
