Your take on everything has been honest and precise. Much appreciated. 1. Honking is...ingrained in the psyche in a way. Cars honk when they see you at visible distance from the road because they seek to warn you. Most understand that you can hear the car approaching, but they decide to 'play it' on the safer side of thigs. In India unintentional roadkill happens in volumes. But, honking at a solo girl traveler for reasons that have to with simple teasing are NOT to be ruled out either. 2. Indians DO NOT use toilet papers. Not generally. We prefer water and soap and towel. Toilet papers make us (most of us anyway) feel kinda unclean. 3. Tipping is purely voluntary here- it's not as toxic as it is in the USA. If you feel like it, you can tip. No pressure at all. 4. The enormous amount of paperwork are repetitive because centre and state have got different administrative setups and concerns and departments. Govt bureaucracy continues to be a migraine in India. There are advantages to this as well, but let's not go down that path. 5. COMPLTELY agree on an absence of cleanliness in the public place, lack of awareness about personal space and most importantly, the (typically north Indian) mentality of taking sexual advantage of solo women. This is VERY unfortunate and as an average Indian I genuine feel ashamed. There's NO excuse and I don't know if this will ever end. The ONLY silver lining is the hope that probably with time things MIGHT change for the better. Take care and stay safe.
*It was all fine until you mentioned that North vs South bs.* Women are sadly harassed even here in NYC and also when I was back in UK. There are hundreds of cases daily in our south India too. It's a global issue.
4:44 because we had a terrorist attack in Mumbai after that everything changed. Even when entering a shopping mall, a security guard will be scanning your bags.
Easier said than done and its different everywhere. Remember we stay with an hostile neighbour, who is heel bent on terrorist activities in our country.
A big like! As an Indian man I agree with what you said. I recommend traveling more to the North Eastern, South India side also Himachal and Ladakh. Please refrain from cities like Delhi, the guys there give the rest of us a really bad name.
Delhi is the only true metropolitan in India...yeah we get guys from haryana..up..Bihar..rajasthan..punjab...but never has any delhite said u don't belong here...in Mumbai..Chennai. Bangalore.. etc u get that a lot...Delhi accepts everyone...mayb rough bcos it represents north which had to toughen up bcos of the continuous attacks and plunder by Afghans...Persians..mughals
@@vipulmalhotra6426 indian man from north predominately harassing and raping woman because of attacks from Persio 400 years go ... dude get a grip stop writing nonsens. It's our culture that sees woman as less and as objects, especially those from the villages. They even blame the girls for being raped. You can blame 400 year old invasions as long as you want, but it's definitly not an acceptable excuse. Those men are also not tough at all, tough man protect woman not rape them, those are cowards and uneducated men that should be thrown in jail for life.
TBH this is the first time I've seen/heard a rational & mature take on India. Most other UA-camrs add music & forced graphics which makes it very gimmicky.
Just came back, literary, today from India. It was my fourth trip. It will take me a day to reset, and feel back as well, and the way to do it, slowly, naturally, is to watch videos like this.😊.Loved hearing your perspective!
But few foreign vloggers like Bald& bankrupted,Harold,Ben etc are showing and giving very negative feedback & view of India in their vlogs,Sad. India is very diverse country in every respect.
Very interesting video. As someone who has traveled India extensively I think you nailed it perfectly. I think this was recommended to me because I watched another video from an Australian lady recently who had a really horrendous time in India. I am not saying she didn't experience what she did, however she was definitely not an experienced traveler, as I watched another of her videos and she had a hard time in Dubai as well.
Thank you so much for your comment, yes unfortunately some people's experiences are very different, and yes its important to know how to travel and also have an open, positive attitude.
The arrival form is the same Italy. Everywhere we went, no matter if a small village or Milan, AirBnb or hotel - we had to fill in a form and leave a copy of our passports.
As a female who is going on a solo trip soon....I watched a lot of these videos. And the girls who did have very creepy situations all have one thing in common...they usually stayed in very cheap accommodation. In my opinion those are designed for Indian Men who need to travel for whatever reason and not for young, foreign backpackers in tank tops. Unfortunately I also saw bad feedback when booking a guided tour, as "tour" for westerners is a busload of people, while in India it is a guy and a driver and they sure take you for a ride😂 and so you imagine you are safer when on a tour...but actually it works to your disadvantage cause they take you to overpriced places and rip you off and get what they can out of you. I will make a video when I get back..haha
Plan it well. Check for hotel feedbacks in websites like makemytrip and/or booking. Check connectivity and AVOID NORTH INDIA, especially Delhi and places in Uttar Pradesh.
I always see these Western people making video on safety in India. Never seen anyone talking about: 1) "Are Western countries safe for Indians?" 2) Why are so many Indian students getting killed in US, UK, Canada, Australia?
Did you watch the video?? I actually shared that India was safe just like any other place. Why don't Indian people share experiences, I can't relate as I'm not Indian.
@@yanaslight So many Indian students are suffering in Western countries and u don't even care. That shows your mentality. Before pointing fingers at others, first check your own backyard. India does not need anyone's validation.
I'm from Kerala and I've done an all India trip from Kerala to Manali by car. I realized that North India is not safe for tourists but South Indian states like Kerala, TamilNadu and some parts of Goa is safe for tourists🙏🏻.
As an indian ,tourist guide or indian friends can make your travel experience more safer and comfortable. Showing to much body can be uncomfortable so,try to wear indian flag with traditional cloths .so many indians try to help you. Go to a good rated restaurant indian street food can be harmful due to your immunity difference. Don't travel in 3rd class trains because poor people may take your seats & stinky some times . Its better to pay Little extra money for your personal safety & comfort. All the best. 🇮🇳❤️🙏🏻
Are you from north east india? My understanding about north east is, a lot of terrorism happens there. I have seen travelers review of North East, they are also mixed... discrimination, overcharging is prevalent there too.
Lol! Our Punjab Police is well known for slapping these young Goons for Eve Teasing.iam still so proud of their (lol) Law Enforcement. SLAP FIRST THEN ASK questions
Yes,true ,actually they hv set their woman as standard for rest of the world most of whom are very raw and unfit.Be rough with them upfront and they understand so well
Many foreigners often complain about cleanliness in India, but I believe that much of this stems from choosing to eat or stay in places that are not up to their usual standards, often in the name of adventure and to save money for the months long trip. Unlike the US and EU, India offers food and accommodation at a wide range of price points. To receive decent service and cleanliness, one should aim for above-average establishments. However, I have noticed that some foreigners opt for entry-level options and then complain about the cleanliness. In contrast, the US and EU have minimal variations in price points for different income levels, making the quality more consistent. Most of it comes from their expectation of a service level similar to their country, you can get that in India, but it would cost the same as their country.
I agree, although I stayed in mid range hotels and to be honest for 30 eur a night not to get toilet paper or bed sheets was a bit surprising. Byt yeah European hotels can be horrible and overpriced.
@@yanaslight Toilet paper is not a think in India. Even some luxury hotels might not offer toilet paper if they arent used to western tourists. And we have more efficient septic system of drainage in India and not the regular toilet paper friendly sewage system like in the west.

Yes your points are well taken. There's lots of stuff that we as a country need to improve I did not hear much about what you enjoyed. Did you? What you learned?
ohhh what exaclty is she supposed to learn according to you? Maybe India needs to learn about garbage about honking about decency with people and tourists and personal space and so many things. Why don't you learn something bro.

*Developing and developed nations have a different set of problems.* Women's safety is a global issue, be it here in the States or India. Most parts of India are unexplored imho.
Tipping is an interesting issue. If the locals do not tip then really tourists should not. It would go against local culture to tip. That would change the economics of the region. Tourism already changes cultures and most often in negative ways.
With all my respect to u ma'am.very sorry for whatever bad experience u had in india n v understand ur feeling mam .but one thing v must admit the way u sounded (sounded u handle the situation very well) n very women should handle the situation how u have handling it in any country. Yana, Thank you for expressing so politely how challenging India can be as a destination, especially for tourists, single women, and even many Indians themselves. Constant honking, widespread filth, overcrowded cities and public transport, scamming cab drivers, and the lack of respect for the privacy of single women, and sexual harassment are some of the realities of life in India. Unfortunately, these issues are unlikely to change anytime soon.
In India it is very unnatural for a man an woman to go out and get a coffee or to show them around, unless it is a licensed tour guide. So when the hotel manager went with you in his mind he thought this was like a date, and you were interested in him. This is what a lot of Western people do not understand. There is still the culture of service, and that is it. You become friendly it takes on a different vibe in their mindset. That is unfortunately the mindset that still continues.
Yes, he is actually a tour guide and it wasn't going out somewhere, we had chai right there and he offered to show me a quiet place in nature. But yes I understand the differences in mentality. What's offensive is the assumption that a white woman is easy and should straight away be interested in "having fun"
Im not saying any negative about to you . But I have seen Western concern about safety and stuffs while Indian people getting discrimination in foreign countries getting k*lled , torture , gun violence and things like that. .
@@yanaslightwell he is telling truth in US many Indians are dying because of racism, gang violence and don't know why even racism against Indians are normalised in social media
The elaborate airbnb documentation is due to the over zealousness of the local cops. As a consequence even the airbnb operator HAS TO keep an "office copy" to prove that they aren't running a brothel.
Great content - very honest which isn't always the case with travelling vlogs. We spent a month in India as a family this winter and there are just some points I wanted to add: Do persevere at registering with the Indian train system IRCTC. Try different mail addresses, gmail worked for me, and different mobile numbers - try a friend's if yours doesn't work, you won't need to communicate via phone later on. We did nearly all our travelling by rail in India and it was very, very efficient, hassle free and good value all things considered. Try different credit cards, too... Secondly, we experienced some problems purchasing SIM cards, too. But at least at Delhi airport there was a workaround - we needed some perseverance here, too, observing other tourists, talking to them, asking several times.... Next time we will bring Indian phone numbers - luckily possible for us. Thirdly, it seemed to us they drive by sonic system - at least in utterly overwhelming Delhi traffic they clearly used the horn to warn when they were overtaking, to settle matters of priority and so on. But you are right - being honked at in plain sight without any apparent reason at all happened to us, too - very annoying. We have been contemplating the attitude to littering, too. Not easy to understand. It crossed my mind that it might have grown out of the cast system historically... but then I don't know. I could go on with comments... Well done you for travelling alone !!! I wouldn't feel comfortable, although I'm a lot older which might make things easier. Keep exploring and all the best.
Hello Yana, My name is Gaia and I stumbled upon your video recently :) It is wonderful because I am planning on visiting India this winter for a yoga teacher training. I am wondering if you have any suggestions? :)
I am from a state in the north called Uttarakhand and i feel you pain when you see trash everywhere. i remember back in the days at least in Uttarakhand we had no trash problem. Unfortunately some idiots travel to these beautiful places and ruin it with their garbage. I recently went to Himachal Pradesh myself and it was beautiful but people left so much trash there that i was in trauma for a while. People of India need to understand that environment is very important. if we ruin our land then its going to damage us in the future. Very short sited people unfortunately.
Yesterday, I asked two German tourists if I could be their guide. I know it might have been a bit annoying, so I only spent a couple of seconds and then left. Your feedback will really help us understand things from your perspective. By the way, if you ever come to Kerala, let me know. I'm from Alappuzha 😅 Trust me, I'll show you an authentic experience on a budget. I even have a scooter.
Oh lovely to hear! I would never be rude if someone is just asking! But I’ve had people really follow me and really be insisting! Definitely if I’m ever in Kerala!
unless you are a official tourguide i wouldn't offer strangers to be their tourguide because that would come as very strange and wired to western tourists. I'm from Kerala too but grew up abroad, i would blindly trust almost any stranger in Kerala, i have only met good people. But in the west, people don't trust strangers so easily, here kids are teached to not trust strangers from a very early age for their own protection, so their guard is always up. The best thing to do if you see tourists is to just leave them alone, only offer help if they approach you. Also depending on the country the tourists are from, they sometimes don't want too much interaction and just want to be left alone (mostly germans and swiss people from what i konw)
@@sebinsebastian9404 haha do what ever you want to do, i don't care. I just gave you my opinion based on my experience. It's the age of the internet, no one looks for a tourguide by just walking around in the city, if they would want a tourguide, they would look online. If a stanger approaches them to give them a tour, especially if it's not from a tourism company, the first though would be "it's a scam". Western tourists watch a lot of videos and prepare themselves before travelling to india, india is not like travelling to any other country.
All the problems you stated are the problems even we as Indians think needs to be solved. 1. Honking is a curse but then historically due to poor road conditions and existing poor traffic management, honking has become a tool to communicate. Thats why you would actually see less road accidents on a rather crowded street become of management through honking. 2. ATM situation - People are generally innocent and they really dont find people standing behind. Even if you request people to go out, they might very well not understand why you said so. 3. Using hands to serve - Its a grey area. You can wash hands multiple times in an hour you cant wash gloves or utensils that often. That being said, hygiene standards are generally poor because even someone who is poor and drinks unsafe tap water can open a food cart. And by his own quality standards, he/she thinks that the food is of great quality. Thats why we usually avoid such places. Regulating such places is a difficult task for the govt. 4. Littering - Even i dont understand why people litter. I would recommend you come to my state, Madhya Pradesh. Things are way better here. My city is a lot cleaner then busy European and American cities and people are generally mindful of trash.
@@yanaslightyeah come to madhya pradesh, madhya pradesh have the most tigers in the world and also have biggest forest area in whole India, Bhopal, Indore are best cities and more cleaner than some of the cities of North and South India

very apt and loyal point of view by you yana , of my country and its people ! liked it ! as for me i live in the northern rural part of india (haryana) about 60km away from delhi ! being an educated man , i could have chosen the city life and city cultur to blend in for my life , but i chose the calm approach of living and spending my life in indian villages ! i have spent my last 30 yrs in educating the common folks out here about the same things you have mentioned which have to be looked after in india ! --- but aah ! you missed one point here , and thats ---- the "STARING" part --- as an indian myself that too living in village, i know my fellow countrymen , being a very curious lot , have a habit of staring people , that too people like you from the western countries ! so my point is not to get offended by this ! its in our DNA , we cant help it --- we just have to stare, though i know people visiting india may find it offensive, but it is also a part of daily life here ! so it should be taken lightly ! anyways liked your true analysis about my country and now i will try to help my people here more by figuring out what all i have missed amd by learning from your beautiful vlog ! thanks and regards --- bobby !
If u get the time also come to Eastern part as well like Kolkata , Darjeeling, Gangtok and north eastern sates. North east is exceptionally beautiful , peaceful and clean u will definitely like the ambiance.
Discrimination, travel issue, Food problems, healthcare, rude and good behaviour, theft, mugging, crimes, entertainment, sex/fun offers, overcharging vs fair pricing vs opportunity cost... These are part and parcel of all the countries and cities. I feel it is more problematic in the west. Only thing good about west is cleanliness, after a while it starts to feel annoying too. Cost wise broad day light robbery goes on in the west. Everything is damn expensive. I salute you for your courage to travel alone. I myself never had guts to travel alone even being a guy.
honking is for safety and to let others know that i am behind or i am overtaking you or asking way to overtake or to change lanes. it prevents accidents. it works in india because traffic police cannot be everywhere to guide the traffic, people are careful if they hear a honk. it a kind of self regulation to prevent accidents. it works in india. so it will happen in india. if you don't like things in india, no one forced you to come here. Tourist should come, experience and get going. There is no point of giving advice. Remember you did not come to india to change it or improve it. Did you? Women safety is an issue everywhere in the world. Mugging, rapes, assaults, robbery is common in all western, eastern, southern and central earth. As a general rule, no human being should roam around shady localities alone anywhere in the world. Garbage disposal is a government created problem, they give contracts to private sectors and they take the money and never do the job. Garbage collection companies are the biggest hotspots of corruption in India. People throw garbage in random places because enough dustbin are not made available. we can do better with the garbage thing. It will only stop when people start asking for answers for the tax they pay and why the pile of garbage exist in the locality. Don't go around trying to educate Indians about how to handle garbage. This is not your country. Some people may take offence and may harm you. Please Do not save the nature at the expense of your life and dignity. India is a free country in its literal sense. Government does not implement the exact rules on the road. Not just road, all rules apply depending on the situation and seriousness. Our definition of seriousness is not the same as western laws. Also every state has state specific laws, they are all indian laws, a variety of them. You already know what I am talking about. Anyways I have seen people smoking weed everywhere in india but marijuana is highly illegal in India. I do not see foreigners complain about that!! why?? because you people do that too and like it too? do not be a hypocrite. A brown guy is always discriminated in Europe and north america. Do not talk about discrimination here in India.. Foreigners are given a lot of respect because we think that Guest are god. If you complain about isolated events, that would be hypocrisy considering the worst treatment a brown guy have to face everyday in west.
I am not going to get into an argument with you and neither am I saying your points are not right. I am sharing my experience and not trying to change your country. Freedom of speech they say hey?)
@yanaslight thank you. It will take time, we should encourage people to do the right things and hope for a better future. They may be ignorant, but good at heart.

Well it's a tragedy for claiming to be the 'Spiritual Capital' of the World. So much basic stuff to rectify on the outside before offering to teach others what's inside. I don't know it's the population density or what why we Indians can't get few basic things straight? Although I know places, in India itself where it's a non-issue. Only thing I can think of is these things weren't ingrained in us during our childhood by our parents, eventhough almost everyone had learned them at school. Being such a diverse country (both geographically & culturally) and probably, the true spiritual capital of the world, the cradle & library of spirituality, it's a shame we are still grappling with such fundamental inadequacies, almost a century after independence from colonialism 🥺🥹 P.S. Things ARE moving in the RIGHT direction...but we ought to TRULY expedite things, by a LOT!
While I appreciate your balanced analysis, I dont like they way you sound when you talk about "educating" Indians about garbage disposal. While it is absoutely correct to emphasize the importance of preserving nature, Westerners like you and me (I grew up in Europe) should not feel like we have the moral high ground. Our western lifestyle has left by far the biggest ecological footprint. Your personal footprint just by flying to India is probably more devastating than the entire life balance of a local. So lets tread lightly and not think of ourselves as superior.
Hi thank you for pointing it out, it was really not my intention to educate, or to sound like i have higher morals. I agree, we have plenty of issues ourselves, and its the indian people and government who need to start changing their mentality.
Honking is a means of communication in India, saying dont do any sudden stupid thing, i am here and coming. Its just everyone telling other, where they are. Sorry but thats the way things are, probably when India can be a $10k per capita economy, things will start to change as will have appropriate infrastructure and rules

Kashmir Valley was under de-facto control of Pakistan supported terror organizations since September 1989. Most of the Kashmiri Pandits fled the valley in terror in January 1990. It is said that Girija’s family were staying put in the valley, hoping that the madness would be over soon. One day, Girija received a message from one of her Muslim colleagues that situation had improved in their area and she should come to her office in Trehgam, Kupwara, to collect her pay check. Little did an unsuspecting Girija realize that this was probably a ruse to lure her out of her home. She came to Trehgam on June 6, collected her pay-check but, on her way back, she was dragged out of her bus and abducted in a taxi by 5 gun totting men, including one of her Muslim colleagues. What befell Girija is worse than a nightmare - something even a ghoulish mind could not have conceived. She was raped, tortured and, in an ultimate act of fanatic zeal, cut into two pieces with a mechanical saw. Her abused body was found buried under sand in a nullah on June 25, 1990. When her brother Satish Raina was notified by police of her gruesome death, he first could not believe his ears nor muster courage to visit the police station. Later, accompanied by some relatives, he visited the police station where the SHO, a Hindu, with tears in his eyes, again requested them not to insist on seeing the dead body - so badly had it been mutilated. However, the family insisted that whatever was left of Girija be handed over to them so that they could at least give her a proper funeral. Girija Tickoo died unsung, an innocent victim to the machinations of vultures masquerading as power brokers, political animals, and religious bigots who wanted to ethnically cleanse Kashmir. Not even a proper FIR was lodged to investigate her murder, leave aside bringing the culprits to book. Instead, her family started receiving threats of physical harm, forcing them to flee Kashmir. The terrible way Girija was butchered only sent a shiver up the spine of those Kashmiri Pandits who were still clinging to their homes and hearths in the Valley, prompting yet another wave of Exodus, this time from the hinterland of Kashmir
@@yanaslightgod bless you then😂 in every city and village of India they live in ghattos where mostly non muslim fear to go....... Even in a broad day light.....still you being tourist feelsand having good time there, best wishes for your experience❤
Mindset while traveling to different parts of India has to be different, one needs to know the cultural aspects and way of life... philosophy of life in india to understand how people live ..their motives etc. 2 cribs of yours about throwing muck outside and not telling I don't know... when you don't know are valid. Your crib of handwashing of clothes is silly ... materialistic way especially if you have lived in UAE...eastern way of living is philosophical and our focus is on karna and not too much on what we don't have... crime and other problems are worldwide, trusting people and being nice and friendly are the qualities you can pick up and take home! I also sense Buddhism is seen by the west as some exotic mumbo jumbo...most of the westerners fall for it without understanding! India lives in different levels. ...one needs a life time to understand it
Appreciate your opinion.🙏🏼 And while I will never understand in depth the way of life in India, I have traveled and lived in different countries in this world and love to see how different people live. Blessings to you
Thanks for being very candid. I might probably see about half of what you saw with your western eyes. Many of the issues, in my opinion, come from religion, culture, poverty and over population.
Yes hyper-religion means you concentrate on the 'personal' next-life. Decreases social-responsibility & reproducing without thought of the bad resources::population ratio.
@@diguification maybe this honking is to alert the blind beggars or dogs and cows.

4:44 because we had a terrorist attack in Mumbai after that everything changed. Even when entering a shopping mall, a security guard will be scanning your bags.
I know but these horrible cases happen everywhere in the world. We should not live in fear and feel unsafe🙏🏼
Just came back, literary, today from India. It was my fourth trip. It will take me a day to reset, and feel back as well, and the way to do it, slowly, naturally, is to watch videos like this.😊.Loved hearing your perspective!
Wonderful! I’ll be back soon too!
Very good take on India. Hope there will be change to keep environment clean.
thank you, appreciate it!
I have lived in India for 48 years. And I mirror your feelings ❤, that's why I love India ❤ Stay safe and blessed 🙏
Wow amazing!
Excellent video.... Very very nice. Thank you so much for this video
Never seen anyone talking about:
1) "Are Western countries safe for Indians?"
2) Why are so many Indian students getting killed in US, UK, Canada, Australia?
Did you watch the video?? I actually shared that India was safe just like any other place.
Why don't Indian people share experiences, I can't relate as I'm not Indian.
lol they think theyre superior, nothing new. Has been like this for a long time, just be you 🙏🏾

Ahh thank you for sharing! I loved every second but just wanted to share my thoughts!

Hi Gaia! Nice to meet you! There are so many! Which region are you planning to go to?
Well sometimes you got to say, what you got say, nothing wrong with it.
Great observations...

Thank you for your perspective! And its really interesting to travel alone, you learn a lot about yourself!
honking is for safety and to let others know that i am behind or i am overtaking you or asking way to overtake or to change lanes. it prevents accidents. it works in india because traffic police cannot be everywhere to guide the traffic, people are careful if they hear a honk. it a kind of self regulation to prevent accidents. it works in india. so it will happen in india. if you don't like things in india, no one forced you to come here.
CORONA pandemic has changed the definition of healthy life. Most unhealthy ppl survived as opposite

Efficiency/etiquette of India is not at per with west. Please do not judge India and Indians because they are different.
Not at all my intention judge or compare. Just sharing my experience.
@yanaslight thank you. It will take time, we should encourage people to do the right things and hope for a better future. They may be ignorant, but good at heart.

Can a female Indian traveller visit Detroit or Philadelphia alone?
Not sure I have actually never been to the US)
What is your next city in India?
Ah I am in Indonesian now, but surely will be back!
Himachal is peaceful and best for meditation
Here in India it is impolite not to horn😅
If a diver doesn't horn means he doesn't really care enough about the lives of the people in the streets to alert them.
Wow thank you for this haha, cultural differences are so interesting!
13:40 We ,indians, have the personality of using things to its maximum possible potential that includes honking.
Haha good to know!
Ma;am you enjoyed full in India

Does not matter if they are Hindu or Muslim. Have seen awful behavior toward women even at 'religious' places. Religion is just a way for the ego to look 'holy', while the inner self is a hypocrite.

Crazy world we live in)
Good morning 🙏 ❤🎉 Madam
From 🇮🇳 India..
Being such a diverse country (both geographically & culturally) and probably, the true spiritual capital of the world, the cradle & library of spirituality, it's a shame we are still grappling with such fundamental inadequacies, almost a century after independence from colonialism 🥺🥹
P.S. Things ARE moving in the RIGHT direction...but we ought to TRULY expedite things, by a LOT!
Of course! India is a beautiful country and I just wanted to share some of the things that were difficult for me, but I deeply love it
While I appreciate your balanced analysis, I dont like they way you sound when you talk about "educating" Indians about garbage disposal.
Sorry but thats the way things are, probably when India can be a $10k per capita economy, things will start to change as will have appropriate infrastructure and rules
well the income-inequality has widened to record levels, and continues..
Means the majority will still exhibit inappropriate behaviors.
I know I know was just sharing what really bugged me. lol thats exactly what I heard many times: Sorry but that's the way things are!
@@yanaslight yea trucks even have a writing on their tail saying "Sound Horn", so it's expected. Please use horn, even when they go around a corner, so in case a car comes towards them, they are already warned. Took me a lot of time to figure that out xD. Makes no sense from a western perspective.
local number called aadhar number and all the security because of lovely pakistani generals they some types randomly explode the firecrackers 😂
East Europe is poorer & Boring and has more Crime. India has all Varieties in every sphere.
US, Europe & East Europe has more Crime and a sandwich costs 10 euros.
I'm not at all comparing, I actually said India is safe :) just sharing my experience
Please dont think India is a safe place and you could just walk around anywhere at anytime.
Not even Indian themselves do such thing of walking around in middle of nowhere.
also stay away from Muslim areas dont even dare to walk alone.
you are not aware of Indian history and Kashmir search for Girija Tickoo a woman what they did to her. youll never see India as normal nation. bcz it isnt.
See I feel like this is a very limited perspective, again, not walking everywhere, but during day time and in central places, Kashmir was safe. There's security everywhere. This is my real like experience.
@@yanaslight Yes there is security and just few days back 5 soilders died. Just few days before 9 civilians were killed. not even 1 year old kid was spared by terrorists
My job is to make you aware of history so you'll keep in mind of possible threats
Please 🙏 read about Girija Tickoo she is part of our heart. you'll.know what India is. My India mother is wounded but not defeated
Girija Tickoo was one such victim who fell victim to the barbaric designs of such Islamic fanatics in June 1990. Girija, all of 21 years and a mother of two, had been working in Govt Girls High School, Trehgam (Kupwara), on a non-teaching position.

Too much crib!
Blessings to you
it's not safe for females to travel India alone, you took a huge risk.
