With this design you will be able to make three separate styles of beautiful sunflower catch all trays! These catch all trays are great to hold jewelry or any number of things around the house. In this set of plans you will learn how I set up a finishing toolpath with a bowl bit, V-carved on the bottom of the tray, set up an epoxy inlay and lasered the bottom of a tray.

That's great! Not sure which one I like best. I like them all for different reasons.
If you put painter’s tape on the surface before laser engraving you will catch the sooty stuff on that and have less finishing to do
They all look amazing, but my personal favorite is the Laser engraved.

Love to know the speeds and feeds etc for this, the be all and end all of a good project
How do you have enough Z clearance to run these parts on top of a 3/4" sheet of the sacrificial MDF hold down wasteboard that you made? On my M.1000 i struggle with taller parts using just a 1/4" sheet of MDF wasteboard and getting warnings about Z clearance even when I push my bits in as far as I can into the collet. I know I can put my table down on the lower rails, but you have it on the top setting and I was wondering how you managed that.
How long did it take you to make these three dishes??

What did you say you make with all the scrap?
Walking paths through our wooded property. I use all sawdust and woodchips to help with that. The weeds have a really hard time making it through thick layers of sawdust and chips, it's super comfortable to walk on too.
