- I absolutely love the way this piece turned out! Making a 12 foot long walnut logo sign using the Shaper Origin and Amana Tool® CNC router bits. www.toolstoday.com
To cut the walnut I used the Amana Tool 1/16" and 1/4" Spektra™ coated down-cut bits (items listed below). The carving was filled with Total Boat 2:1 epoxy using Mixol USA tints to give some awesome color to the project. I used Walrus Oil Furniture Butter to finish the piece and it turned out looking incredible.

I am thinking shaper but in small apartment….can you use shaper to plane off top epoxy?
You can. You can set the depth of cut to anything you want within reason. For instance, I set a depth of cut to .01 in one project, and to .025 in another. You are only limited by the bit itself.

Be very very careful how you use ToolsToday. I purchased a $1900 CNC router which was larger than I thought. I ask for a return and was denied. their return policy only applies to their items not "drop shopped" items. I am very unhappy. Martin Potts
