Got one of these for Christmas when I was 6 years old. Ran a meaty snow blower tire on the back, it was an amazing bike. Unfortunately the engine got some moisture in it and the cylinder rusted out. I hear that a crf70 engine could bolt into the frame of this bike, so I might get one and see about getting that running for my kids one day
Had a 1978 model as a kid here in Australia, alot of fun/memories and reliable. Looking for another one at the moment but people want $6000 to $8000 ........Bloody Hell
I remember these clearly when I was a kid. Beautiful bike, they were sort of rare even back then. We all had YAMI pee wee 50 & 80’s, & there was a few Honda QR 50’s about as well.
My other buddy had a Kawasaki I think it was a 60 that little bike was faster than my suzuki, I've never seen another like it, probably like 74 year model.
The kill switch isn't nos, it's still available and for 90s models, that seat cover is horrible, chinese fenders 🤦♂️and you replaced one grip only????

You need to speak louder, and especially MORE CLEARLY, and on top of that, anyway, this video has audio problems. Your voice is only coming through one side of the stereo sound field, and when switching to mono (for example, the difference between having an iPhone standing up vs. watching the video with the screen turned sideways), your voice is completely switched off. Audio tweaking + speaking technique…

My cousin had one of these, it was mint, hardly ridden- only thing it had was a dent in the metal tank.
I had one. I didn't know it would be a collectors item.

You could use orings to remake the front plate holder instead of hose clamps if you wanted a more OEM look.
