I just got this pedal, it's awsome! Running it through a Mesa/boogie Lonestar 112 combo.. sounds amazing.. smooth, harmonically rich and loads of sustain! Couldn't ask for more..!
handmade as in hand wired. most pedals use printed circuit boards. The circuit in this pedal was soldered together BY HAND. thats what makes is a handmade pedal.
@ProGuitarShopDemos Really Andy? that second riff? classic cheese rock haha. a real question: I have a high gain amp already (a Soldano Astroverb), would you recommend this Switchblade or the Hellbender to go along with it?
@ProGuitarShopDemos You may well have gotten your best licks from Pokeman, but where did you get that haircut? ...straight from the 80's Andy! Hey...don't shoot the messenger - just tryin' to help a brutha out!
earth to classic-rock boy. marshalls cannot do everything! (for instance, no usable clean sound, also they are huge! and they are almost all made in Southeast Asia these days). Versatility is key to pushing the boundaries of modern music.......personally I'd get either a modern amp a la Soldano or Mesa Boogie or an older (and "cleaner") amp (any fender, JC-120) that will accept pedals well.
I usually don't like metal pedals, but this one is great!

@TeeAreBee There's the solo from Hotel California.
Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin. Always good taste Andy particularly with Radiohead!
@TeeAreBee
the second one Hot Blooded by Foreigner dude!
Most name brand pedals are made on an assembly line I would imagine. The MXR's and Boss's and the like.
@TeeAreBee the second one was "hot blooded" by foreigner
that's the solo in hotel california i think
Fuck yeah Hot blooded !
I wish i was as good as you. Damn you.
Which Rothwell pedal is best for Led Zeppelin songs? Hellbender or Switchblade?
Wait, I cant hear difference between Switchblade and Hellbender.. what's the difference? which one has more gain, etc...

nor would most people ever be able to feasibly use one. cranking a stack in a small club, wouldn't go over too well.
1:32 Hot Blooded.
I liked the Heartbreaker O.D. better.

hellbender man
wrong.
go tube or go home!
Lmao, pokemon XD
Scotty should have demo'ed this one. A hard rock pedal should be played by a hard rock player.
