- It seems that we are becoming quite the CT5-V Blackwing connoisseurs and to be honest we really don't mind as they are Fantastic! With more power and comfort than her ZL1 and Z06 counterparts it really is one of the best driving cars on the market today! Or at least it should be as this CT5V-V is coming to us with some serious drivability issues that have taken a great car and turned it rotten. Watch as we dive into this build and get it all sorted before seeing about turning it up even further!

Hey Andrew I always knew you were the master on the keyboard LOL glad to see your posting again brother I miss your videos love what you do❤
This car was at rpm. That answers a few questions for me personally.
I was curious about that myself. But, how do you know that? I don't watch their videos anymore. Did you see it there? J swap Jason.
How do you know it was at rpm ?
Never mind I see it now! That’s crazy tho honestly!! They do build alot of great cars I think it might cuz they just build and take the time to try the new cars they build so many C6s C7s and V3s and stuff that they don’t care enough about the new shit in reality…
Don’t take the time to learn the new cars **
Sadness
Andrew is one of them trust worthy tuners. I'd let him tune my car and my lawn mower.
Take it back to recoil racing where it was built to fix the issues!
Your videos remind me of my sex life. Short and to the point😂
That's definitely in the running for comment of the week lol
@@completestreetperformance my wife would agree, except she knows it’s true lol
Martinez Nancy Martinez Michelle Gonzalez George
Who tuned it the first time ? 😂
I also tuned the global b platform.
At the same time, I also encountered the car panting when you drive at low speed.I tried to repair the MAF and it fixed the problem
Honest opinion on RPM ? Ik they build literally an insane amount of cars and they charge the 2 most I’ve ever seen only one more than them is LMR in Texas , who also build bad ass cars
I can't believe that thing was allowed to leave...
Sounds like a kid just starting to learn how to drive stick
Your videos are awesome..we appreciate them!
It's not about how fast you got it done, it's about how long it took to know what to do 😊
Ls1 edit to hp tuners is a little different lol
man that car is a beast. great DD.
So, no tune would have been much better from the beginning?
No, with this setup that would have put it in limp mode
Love your content but man. I hate the “to be continued” vids.
I know, but I don't like having hour long videos lol
What size rear tire and rim is on that Blackwing
19” 305s
@@Eddie_Howard it just looks a lot bigger than the stock Michelin. Have you heard or do you know anyone that is running a 315 that doesn’t rub?
It’s an 18, 305/40/18 nt555r2
Most cars get to the mechanic shop and then act like it's on its best behavior like.. I don't even know why we here Bro! 🤷🏾♂️ 😂🤣😂🤣
You're fuxking awesome!
tune that far off was it necessary to take it out on the road and rag on it?
Since we couldn't read the tune, we needed to get data to determine the likelihood of it needing just a tune. The moment we write ours the old one would be lost forever. So very important that I was able to get data in all conditions in order to basically reverse engineer the tune if needed. I certainly didn't want to inherit a bad build without a full review. And the customers main complaint was the drivability so it was necessary to get it on the road.
This thing couldn't sniff an electron from a plaid it's too slow, Sounds decent but who needs sound when your breaking the sound barrier in the plaid.
No one that drives this cares about that. It's like saying a new Nissan family car can beat a 1990 Ferrari. no one with a classic Ferrari cares.
You’re probably not going to like hearing that I sold my plaid and bought this lol.
@@collenkelton4095 i’m not sure what you’re yapping about, but this Cadillac is a family sedan based on a 30 K rental car platform and I’m not sure why you’re comparing any Ferrari to one of these cars. At least the plaid is a ground up platform built by Tesla based off the looks of an Aston Martin. Obviously people care as they want to make their cars faster and spend tens of thousands of dollars to accomplish exactly that.
People who drive slow cars only talk about the sound. If You’re not first you’re last.
As men we inherently want to dominate and win, oh wait you must be a woman?
@@Json918 Driving a car around on the street is not something I am trying to "win". enjoy dominating the trip to the grocery store. I just like cool cars. Plaid is cool too. You can type another paragraph if you like. I will read it.
