Part of P&D is being a good salesman. Great job on the recoup!!
Even though I do almost the same job, it's fun to watch a master of his craft make it happen.
Before I had kids I wanted to be an OTR driver, only thing that kept me from being is I'm scared of backing cause I feel like I'd either hit something or get myself stuck. Anyway I really enjoy your videos because you actually show the delivery and pick ups rather than just arriving at the destination
That electric horn sounds pretty weak compared to the air horn. I drive in big metro city centers regularly and use the air horn more often than not. I tend to call it the city horn. 🤣 Amazing that you walked through that pick up office and didn't see a soul. LOL
I had bought several rooms worth of furniture online. It was shipped via one of Estes competitors. One pallet got lost, the other got recouped, shrink wrap damaged. That shipper wasn't as professional as Estes. We (the manufacture and me) decided that I would refuse delivery, that the manufacturer would get recouped for the lost pallet and damaged pallet. They shipped using FedEx. I wish the manufacturer had an account with Estes, because Estes is trustworthy.
A very close accident I almost had over 40 years ago, to share with you. Make sure that fork lift driver is moving in reverse before going behind it to jump up there and pull door down. We sometimes get in a hurry. Stay blessed sir.
Getting a new job as a local driver tomorrow. You are a good driver and someday I hope to be as good as you... Full of confidence and experience!
I saw on a blog dated 8 23 22. One of the docks you backed up to. Next to you there was a odd looking metal guide? Sitting on the ground was wondering what it was for. I'm not a truck driver. Always wanted to but never did. I think I might be to old to do it now. I really enjoy your videos keep up the good work. A big thank you.
So enjoy your videos thank you. I did 48's but I retired before the 53's. The old saying the longer the trailer the easier it is to back up if you have the room.
Enjoying the videos. Thanks for posting my truck man 💪
Love this channel man. Found it within the last week and watch it from when I get home till I go to bed😂 thankful for your channel !
Chuck the second delivery you were asking about was ceiling grid. It’s for ceilings that have tile placed in them. Either 2x2 or 2x4
Hey Chuck, I drive a tri axle Volvo and watch a lot of your videos. Every time I make turns or back up into streets I feel like I’m in one of your videos lol just from the sound of that Volvo engine in your videos. Thanks for the videos man
You go Chuck,
You do uplift us everyday.
Thanks for being you...
Cheers
Thanks David much appreciated
Love your videos! I'm a local/ regional driver from Rochester, NY. I will send you a picture of my truck if I can remember to take one next time I'm out LoL.
Another excellent job. Very well done. Have a good rest of the week and be safe. Enjoyed the ride along.
Thanks for the video Chuck!!
Chuck Thanks for the ride along, I enjoy your videos.
👊🏻
Have a great day Chuck,great videos !!
Thanks DT 👊🏻

👊🏻
That pick up and deliver looks interesting but I will run coast to coast see a lot of interesting stuff at here
I just found your videos during a power outage and they are so relaxing , mayb cause I like yo drive hahha , the closest to be a trucker for me its american truck simulator , God bless ....+1sub tho
Welcome to the channel 👊🏻
You are so good at backing into docks.
I live in fairfield, oh!! U mentioned product from there.
I was told to just apply back to Estes! I really hope I get a second chance... wish me luck
Hey Chuck.. man I miss your enthusiasm in the Corvette community. I was a long time subscriber over on 918 ( all the way from Ontario Canada ) I still watch those videos from time to time. Was so sad when you made that final video over 3 years ago, I just took possession of my 19 Z06 and a few months later you were leaving Corvette. I hope you are doing well, I do understand you had to do what was right for you and your family you have my blessing. I hope it was all you dreamed it would be and more. I do miss your contributions to Corvette and the incredibly positive impact they had though. I stop by over on this channel once in a while just to see how your doing. I dont think I have ever commented...thought it was about time. Would be pretty cool if our paths crossed one day ! Godbless
Those where some amazing years shearing the corvette experience with who ever watched. You have the best corvette ever made in my opinion. I’m sure the C8 is amazing but GM has really botched the implementation of what I’m sure is an amazing car. My goal is to one day restart the 918 channel and pickup where I left off 😎. I appreciate you checking in from time to time 👊🏻
@@TheTulsaTrucker Agreed I love that car, I have been blessed. That would amazing to see 918 return
Can't go without a upload from Chuck
😎
I agree. A like is the minimum cost of admission.
👍🏻
Awesome Video Chuck P.S. Its Lawng Chuck.
Great videos..
Loving your videos. It's exciting to see your day to day stuff like this. I'm surprised though that you use such a big truck for such small deliveries, and also that you're still using paper slips for receipts.
You only see a small portion of my day. I normally have that trailer full when doing deliveries and it’s full of pickups when I come back. Some days it’s not long enough 😂
@@TheTulsaTrucker ah, it's just me thinking it's America, everything just has to go bigger 😂
Your job looks fun and rewarding.
Definitely enjoy it
Nice video Chuck . I have to say it would be such a waste not using those very good backing up skills and go back to line haul . (Lol)
I sent you a picture of my last P&D truck . Was my last truck with Yellow. I think the Volvo I drove has changed so much to the one you now drive . Also picture of the radio boxes we made Also was a pair of Vice grips we used to mount our radio and CB antennas to the mirrors.
Be safe ✌️
Denis I did the vise gripe thing as well LOL
Hey chuck can u do a video from warehouse to delivery
Hej Chuck this vas a gin a god video you made. hello from Denmark
Yep stuff happens!🙁
Looks to me like commercial building materials
Make an hour video is that possible I like to watch this I like trucks I play American simulator it's about trucks and I deliver stuff in a PC
I always notice how helpful you are during the loading/unloading process with your clients (adjusting the forks, tying straps, clearing debris on the dock, etc). I'm curious how "expected" that is in your role. Does the client always expect the help or is it just in your nature to make sure the delivery is a smooth as possible. Just curious about the little things I notice. Love your videos and keep it up!
It’s definitely not expected of LTL drivers but it’s just the way I’m wired to help. Thanks for noticing because I don’t even notice I’m doing them small things. 👊🏻
@@TheTulsaTrucker Awesome, man. Thanks for the reply!
Number 35 for u hit that thumbs 👍 up
👊🏻
truck on Chuck
👍🏻👊🏻
great video sir
Thanks Brandon, have a great evening sir
@@TheTulsaTrucker you too sir
Love riding shotgun with you buddy 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Have not watched your channel in a while due to some life turns, but I thought you were doing linehaul? Did you go back to P&D because you missed it or other reasons?
Came back to help P&D for 6 months because they were short on drivers. Will go back to Extra Board in January
Do you ever adjust your trailer wheels according to your load weight
No because it’s all city driving
@@TheTulsaTrucker every stop I made when I ran required tandems back on every damn stop. Ugg such a pain with the darn ancient trailer that had me dragging around the county
Hi, i have a question. How wide is your trailer? Maybe it just your cam but I noticed that you put 2 pallets next to each other and have a little space between them. I work in a logistic company in Germany and our trailers are about 8,2 Ft wide. Our pallets are about 31 inches wide and you can put three beside each other. Are American pallets wider?
I believe they are the same as yours but we have all kinds of pallet sizes.
@@TheTulsaTrucker Thank you for the answer.
How much more time on P&D before going back on the super slab ?
Mid January
What mapping program do you use?
In the city google maps if I don’t know where a place is. When doing extra board I use a Garmin OTR 1000
Still no train horn on your truck :)
If it was mine 😁
Does estes have driver facing cams?
No
Thanks will they hire you if ur still waiting on hazmat in the mail?
How many hours do you get on average for a week?
I work 45-48
What state do you work in?
Ok
A happy retuning victim
👊🏻
glovesleeglovesle gloveslee
😂😂
Chuck, how many miles do you average with P&D?
On my route 89-100 a day
Are those the miles backing per day lol!
That smash button like 👍
What makes me sweet !!! Lol
Awesome video Chuck;)
Eli~
