To be specific, first, you may get ideas of colour usage in daily life, observing every object you approach, pay more attention on the colours and directions of light. Besides, I get my own sense of colour by observing different artwork from others. You'll know the skills of picking colours then. You may search for tutorials online easily if you wish, cuz it's difficult to explain the whole process with simply words. Hmm take an example, there're a ray of white light from the top and it reaches an orange, the top of the orange would be mostly a very light orange/ yellowish white. The bottom of orange would be reddish orange, and a little grey+orange. It may not be useful but i hope it somehow could answer your question>

Ohhh ok I see what you mean 😋 Also, that hair and clothing wrinkles are really gooooood, I'm bad at drawing anime hair. I usually draw things that aren't people. At my drawing class we copied pictures of things in books and my favourite thing was copying really complicated anime people and using watercolour. I do that Monday to Friday for 3 hours and I've been there for 6 years. I never actually got to draw anything by myself so it was hard drawing anime people. Everything else I draw is fine though.
