Very emotional if you're a TNG fan, absolutely amazing moment all Trekkies wanted, including me, and I must admit, I was close to tears at that moment!!
Damn it... I've got tears in my eyes again! So glad I wasn't the only one hurt when Enterprise D crashed and excited to tears to see her on screen again... whole! Yeah, Thank You Terry! Thanks to everyone for making this journey feel so complete!
I will never, to this day, ever watch Star Trek Generations again, and haven't since I saw it in the theaters due to The Big D being destroyed. But seeing her fly again gave me goosebumps and a huge lump in my throat. The single most beautiful Starship in all of Star Trek. And the BEST to ever bear the name: ENTERPRISE!

That's exactly why the first two season of Picard missed the mark. At its core, Star Trek is about the ship, the crew, the captain working as one, that sense of camaraderie. Put all that together, you get an outlook of hope of being able to do the impossible....together, which is the bottom line of Star Trek. I'm not even the biggest Star Trek fan, but I know enough to know that much. This scene was what all Trekkies needed and deserved.
I had tears. The attention to detail was perfect. They really went all out on this final season and did the TNG cast a solid, and for that, I am happy. Would've preferred the popups over it at the end to not have been added, though.
I'm very happy the Enterprise-D was not destined to rot on Veridian III, but was restored, kicked some serious butt, and now is preserved at the Fleet Museum. Such a perfect ending to my favorite Enterprise.
Thanks, Terry, for paying homage to all starships and those named Enterprise. A lot of us fans love the ships and technology, as you can see, almost as much as we love the characters. Yes, I cried seeing NCC-1701D live again. Keep those Starships coming. Love em!
I really appreciate the fact that LaForge left the burns on her disc. As he said, he recovered the disc from the planet where she crashes, and the other parts from other ships. Those burns are a memento of the ship's glorious past. She's glorious, but also old and scarred by her battles, just like her crew... but they're both ready to save the Federation again, together!
The job was not complete at that time. She's all pristine and museum-ready in the denouement. But at that time, they needed a big powerful ship that was *not* wired into the Fleet Formation system, and Geordi's incomplete-but-mostly-fight-ready Enterprise-D rebuild fit the bill. Apparently the stardrive section still had U.S.S. Syracuse insignia on it too, from what more eagle-eyed viewers spotted.
My eyes are watering up all over again seeing this. I will always remember that feeling when they brought back the 1701-D for one final mission. And to give it the proper retirement it always deserved. 🖖
When I was a kid they announced Star Trek: The Next Generation. I was really excited. But a lot of the older fans hated on EVERYTHING. Not MY crew! Not MY Enterprise. The years passed. The show grew to be very popular. I watched it all. It's good to see the TNG crew and ship being celebrated by so many.
Powerful indeed. Only true Star Trek fans will understand this. To the startup sequence, to it's final mission, this is definitely the final time we'll ever see her in action. It was truly a moment....
Honestly, when I saw the Enterprise D again, I felt the same way. Laughing and crying at the same time. I was moved and thrilled. No wonder, because in my opinion the Enterprise D is the most beautiful spaceship of the entire Starfleet. It was enough that she flew through the picture once briefly in "Star Trek Enterprise" to give me goose bumps. 😃
This was to Trek fans, what Georgia did to Ohio State on the way to the national championship., That same kind of I can't believe what I'm seeing energy. I watched it on my phone here at home, at the retirement community I live at now I've watched Star Trek in one form or another since the very first episode of the original series I actually had to put my hands over my mouth so no one would hear me screaming, and I was crying like a little kid, cuz this brought home all the feelings , no matter what series was your favorite or your favorite character was. If you're a fan you understood why this was happening... At the end of the day, it comes down to this The fans are what makes Star Trek special, to paraphrase Captain riker We are the USS Enterprise, and Star Trek lives in each of us, in its own way.
We're in the midst of an Original Trekkie! Sir, your approval of this just stands as proof of how great of a season, and send off, it was for the D's crew. When we got not only Data back again but those spot lights turned on... I was also in tears. I remember being 12, back in '07, and discovering Star Trek TNG one night when I couldn't sleep. It came on right after Roseanne. I still remember the first episode, it was the one where Data slept with Tasha. So seeing the D, in all her glory, was definitely that type of energy!
Im a 24yo star trek fan, and i have been since my dad introduced me to it when i was 10. I have seen every episode and movie of star trek that is available, the original, the 90s shows, enterprise and the new ones. I gave up on modern Trek, but this season was worthy of the older greats. Seeing the Enterprise D and how true to their original characters the crew was, made me tear up, especially when they originally came aboard.
Cheers, Arnold. Thank you, Sir. I was watching the Series as a kid, never knowing how I would grow to love parts of it I didn't even recognize, first time 'round. Hip hip, as they say!

At the end of the movie the theater burst into loud applause, cheering, and foot stomping when a new Enterprise was shown. Star Trek is the best Sci-fi series ever created. I have to agree even though she was severely damaged beyond repair from a renegade Klingon Bird of Prey and was deemed unsalvageable it took 20 years for her former chief engineer to restore her to her former glory and it just goes to show that the Enterprise is truly the strongest ship in Starfleet as stated by the Borg in the Best of Both Worlds as it clearly shows it'll take more than a 12 year old Klingon Bird of Prey to take that ship down I mean if the Duras Sisters had more than one Bird of Prey at they're disposal during the Battle of Viridian 3 things might've ended in they're favor or if they had a more up to date and more powerful Bird of Prey they just might have won but they didn't as the Duras Sisters sadly underestimated the crew of the Starship Enterprise as that ship and her crew were the best in Starfleet and no one gets assigned to that ship by being novices or who has families in high places of command it takes hard work, determination and being the best to get assigned to the Federation Flagship.
The Enterprise-D lives again Now Picard and his former shipmates can go on their continuing mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, and most of all, to boldly go where no one has gone before

Brilliant filming of the Enterprise D rolling out of the hanger bay like a restored vintage muscle car coming out of the garage for the first time in decades.
The greatest day in star trek history the return of the greatest star ship ever the beautiful Enterprise D thank you terry for bringing her back she was so missed.
Thank you Terry for somehow talking Mr. Stewart out of his stipulation of 'no wearing of uniforms' and 'no Enterprise' before signing on for ST: Picard. Glad to see Adm. Picard wearing his present serving uniform(all of season 3) and having to occupy the Enterprise D for the finale. Oh and also well done for putting your own wife as the voice of the ships computer for Eleos and USS Titan like a proper ST showrunner.
And this is proof…..history will never forget the name: Enterprise. It never ceases to amaze me the impact the crews of the USS Enterprise have on people around the world. From the Kirk days to Picard, these are the legends that embody Star Trek and what it stands for: hope for humanity.

Having been a Star Trek fan since 1976 this was long over due we need more, seeing the USS Enterprise again was worth the wait
I grew up on tng. I'm in tears watching this video 🥹😭

One of the rare moments a reaction video like this was accurate
Yea I cried too , damn … they got me
She’s as beautiful as the day we lost her
Brilliant filming of the Enterprise D rolling out of the hanger bay like a restored vintage muscle car coming out of the garage for the first time in decades.
Thx for your nice Comment.

Seeing enterprise Amazing and when picard said engage child hood memories Brilliant
The perfect enterprise with the perfect crew
A year later, I've seen this countless times and it still gets me choked up each time.
This was a thing of genius!!
And this is proof…..history will never forget the name: Enterprise.
It never ceases to amaze me the impact the crews of the USS Enterprise have on people around the world. From the Kirk days to Picard, these are the legends that embody Star Trek and what it stands for: hope for humanity.
Exactly.
Desde sur del planeta, es increible como nos emocionamos igual personas de culturas distintas y tan alejados geograficamente, el sueño de un mundo unido de la serie cada tanto puede aparecer. Saludos a los que me acompañaron emocionandose igual que yo!!
NCC-1701-D: the Almighty Galaxy class! This ship has saved the galaxy so many fucking times! Long may it reign!!!
I am 70 and I still cry everytime I watch this
10 Seconds before he said it, I could see it on the faces of the people watching, and knew there would be a massive cheer. In real life, it would be exactly the same. Good job x
Part of my childhood, was an overwhelming feeling when the hangar was open.
would be very interesting how the feeling of the actors was, i think they are also flashed🥺
I cried too seeing her return
Absoluter Hammer, da wäre ich so gerne bei gewesen, die Emotionen sind unbeschreiblich, Wunderschön, es verbindet🥲🥲🥲😍
My favourite star trek moment seeing the return of the enterprise d. It wouldn't of been a next generation reunion without the enterprise d
I had a rush of emotions all good
Glorious.
Now, this was just as Great 👍 as 🇺🇸 it gets.😊 live long and prosper
This ship just feels like home. Tears of joy for seeing an old friend who we thought died a long time ago.

@@chris_huth Our Family are Trekkies it all started with when my Dad was young and growing up they would watch the Original Star Trek which then when my Sister and I were born we would watch every Saturday night Star Trek the Next Generation leading up all the way to Enterprise
No other Tv Show make this inside us !!!
As McCoy said in "" Encounter at Farpoint" Treat her like a Lady and she'll always bring you home.
Words never wiser ever
Damn this was so well done
Another reason the 80s were so awesome! I feel like I'm reliving the past seeing Enterprise 🔥
That last season of Picard was tremendous! Good to see them get the band back together
I understand everyone has done an outstanding job and it's tiring making the show especially when their advanced in years but this was absolutely the best thing in Star Trek History I'm content with the ending of Star Trek Picard and wish the dedicated cast and crew the best . Thank you Sir Patrick Stewart and the crew for making my last few years a true pleasure by your dedicated work to this show.
Incredible 🖖🏻
The minute the lights turned on on the Enterprise-D I knew the Borg were toast.
That truly sums upwhat he real fans felt.
The most loved enterprise is finally back in space… we love you Enterprise D!
The childhood of many fans, when the families were still together! Many years, many tears and laughter, losses.....and now Terry Matalas gave back a small piece of memory, which moved great feelings! Thank you Terry
Esta nave y su tripulación son realmente una leyenda, marcaron mi infancia, que nostalgia ❤❤❤❤
They really had these auditoriums filled with fans for the finale? That would have been a total blast! The guy with the glasses in his mouth hanging opened.... Had to freeze frame that and watch a few times! Priceless reaction! 🙀😳
How are we not excited? The legends are all back, and now they're riding the legendary ship again! We never thought that would happen, but now it's a very sweet treat for us to enjoy.
You will never see star war fans get this excited to see a Star Wars trailer or scene this epic like seeing this good old enterprise D I remember seeing this.
This was literally me. Jumping in my seat, edge of the couch cheering with tears of joy. So fucking good! They finally did Star Trek right.
