All the people of the world deserve what you did girls.A nice place, friends, high quality foods and good mood.I personally, pray for this, every time I go to church.Salute from an Athenian Greek.
Congratulations girls. I'm Greek I lived my whole life in Greece and the holidays you had and the food you ate is exactly how you should do vacation in Greece. even the BBQ!!! I wish you the best
The fish is called Gilt-head bream often referred as seabream, gilthead, silver seabream and/or porgy, in Greece it's called Tsipoura, it's a very popular fish in Greece and the Mediterranean region and one of my personal favorites, although the fish has a lot of little bones the meat is so tasty, so it's worth it. It's often recommended for people that don't like fish because of it's mild fishy taste.
We go to that Greek butchers every time we come to kefalonia, it is amazing great choice of meats tasty I love the island it’s amazing. We are going for our ninth visit in October.
Çupra in Turkish. Not the greatest fish but probably farmed as there is a ban in the summer for fishermen. Med sea bass or turbot are the most flavorful of all if you can find it fresh in season.
Im pretty sure iced coffee is Greek, not Vietnamese. In fact the recipe of the Vietnameze iced coffee is a the one of the Greek iced coffee and if you search for the recipe of the _"traditional"_ Vietnameze iced coffee, you just get the history of coffee in Vietnam. So, not much of a traditional coffee. EDIT: you should stuff the zucchini blossoms with rice and some herbs and spices and cook them in the oven. You probably are aware of the Greek "gemista", the exact same way and in the same pan. They are out of this world. You ll love them
@@myriadrecipes It's not my idea. it's a traditional Greek recipe, and yes, it's more than delicious. As for the Vietnamese iced coffee, you know Frappe? It was first made in Thessalonike, Greece with condensed milk in the 1950s and they make using this milk to this day. Thessalonike is an UNESCO City of Gastronomy. Later they used the same milk with freddo cappuccino and freddo espresso (though both italian coffees, Italians never made iced coffee, the freddo version is a Greek doing), though the last many years they use cream. I'm telling you, there's no "traditional" Vietnamese iced coffee. They just call it this way.
90% of greek tavernas serve frozen ready made food. I dont even want to see inside the kitchen. But you can find also very good food if you are lucky. Your video is nicely made.
Hello, I am waiting for you in Turkey, the land of real food and real owners, I am sure you will love it. If you have a port like this, you can write me, I would like to help you. 😊
Why do they get all worked up with everything Greek? They have a big beautiful country, exceptional food and historical sites(most of them Greek…) What’s their beef? Can they not brag without being rude and aggressive?
this certainly is dreamy, there is nothing quite like greek food!

I totally get you, but this version of iced coffee is inspired by Vietnamese coffee because they put condensed milk in it! It’s so good!
Oh my goodness, that’s such a great idea with the zucchini blossoms, love it!! Sounds delicious 😍

Beautiful
Milk custatd tart? Galaktobouriko.
Congratulations girls,you cooked calamari correctly.If you cook,more than 2 minutes,you aren’t eating calamari,but Dunlop tires.
Nothing worse than overcooking fish!! :)
The fish is a sea bream.
Great video ! Heading there in 2025 !
τσιπούρα, tsipoura or sea bream
Τhe skewers with meat are ''Souvlaki'' and not ''kebabs''
Aaaaah yes, of course! Thank you :)
I wll report this video as a relentless 10 minute onslaught on my weight loss program. 😁
Haha woopsieee
FYI: You don’t pronounce the “c” like “ch” in Dulce. You pronounce it like “s”.
Take it from someone whose first language is Spanish. 😊
Be Greek for a week.
Once with greek.....you cant walk for a week.....😘🇬🇷🇬🇷💪💪😂😂

Ahh the customary turk, coping hard in Greek food vids
I love Turkey, can’t wait to return! Thank you for your welcoming message 🫶🏽
Real food and real owners ....xaxa you are so funny..
The level of rudeness is disgusting. To imply that we do not have real food is downright ridiculous.
