Most shops have those scanners but no staff to use them correctly, Dealerships don't want to pay for training, which is the issue in most cases. I purchased a semi-high-end scanner, and I am learning for myself. Awesome videos and the level of detail is second to none.
This is a very common fault on Sprinters the wiring is good the problem is the 40amp fuse it self the legs on fuse do get burnt and causes poor connections if you pull the fuse out you will see it just replace the fuse and you will be good to go...😊
@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair Hi, I agree the fuse is fine but, the contects in the fusebox are not connecting properly which is a very common fault I have done lots of them the only way to find out is you pull the fuse out and you will notice the fuse legs one of it will be burnt out and causing poor connections (voltage drop) when you applying brakes. There is also a TBS for this fault code if you check properly.
I think you were checking the wrong fuse. Fuse 4 is a 40A in the bottom row. You were only checking the upper portion of the box. None of these are 40A.
South Main Auto would never approve that external power wire fix to the ABS module. For a guy that insists on using genuine OEM parts (fix it right)........hmmmmmm

Can you do continuity test from the abs terminal to the fuse box. Good troubleshooting technique.🙏🏻

@jackb3232 No
Awesome video, but that Sprinter is what we call a Hoopty. It was such a good viechle they never put money into it.

It seems as if all sprinter vans do give a lot of problems when getting old. And maintaining it is very much expensive. From South Africa
@davidjax3999 check all the fuses on the box, all of them
What's the bill so far? Maybe not worth it considering the amount of miles on vehicle how long before the engine or transmission goes out
@vancefalashetti3025 Lol
I’m glad exhaust codes are gone
@jeffjones7897 Thanks!
Sprinter to the grave yard
@AbdallahAbukurah Lol
