Welcome to The Warning rabbit hole. Not only is Pau the drummer of the best power trio around today, but she sings lead on a few tracks WHILE playing drums! You need to hear more from them. Since you are a vocalist, you should hear their song "Choke". Her older sister Dany (Guitar and lead vocals) is a powerhouse Frontwoman! All three are the most talented sisters you will ever see. Animosity and Evolve are my favorites off their most recent album, but Choke is probably the best example of Dany's powerhouse vocals. 23 is a fantastic example for Pau. There's a couple great videos floating around of Ale doing Red Hands and The Hunter off of Queen of the Murder Scene. Narcisista is an excellent example of Pau singing while she beats the crap out of her set. Dust to Dust is great for that as well. They're all phenomenally gifted.

She is the primary song writer along with her two sisters for The Warning. She sings lead on multiple songs while drumming at an intense level. All three are classically trained on piano. Pau is an emotional singer who had four hours to learn this song and then deliver this incredible performance. Something that Pau (and her sister Dany) do that adds depth, for me at least, is their focus on enunciation. The Warning are three sisters from Mexico who started on UA-cam at an insanely young age (there are videos where Ale's bass is bigger than she is), got a viral hit with a Metallica cover and have capitalised on it superbly. All three learned piano before switching to rock, and all three can sing. Dani (oldest) plays lead guitar and is the main singer, Pau plays drums, sings backup on most songs and the lead on a few (and is the principle songwriter IIRC) while 'little' Ale (the youngest, but also now the tallest 🤣) plays bass, occasional keyboards, and is starting to sing more and more.
Bear in mind that the video you just watched wasn't any kind of 'professional' video, more a 'goofing off in the studio' kind of thing, probably shot on a phone. Ale did something similar with a jaw-dropping cover of Muse's 'Hysteria', which I'd love to recommend to you if it wern't for the fact that she doesn't sing a note in it...😉 What I can recommend are the music videos of 'Choke' or 'Disciple' (mainly Dani singing) or the live video of 'Dust to Dust' live at Lunario CDMX (2018) (mainly Pau singing). Something else you might consider interesting would be a back-to-back comparison of their earliest hit video (cover of Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' from 8 years ago) and one of their latest ones like Disciple to see just how far they've progressed.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 20) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 22) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to UA-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - ua-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/v-deo.html
The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, UA-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City. This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on UA-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.
In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song...
On May 21 2021 they released the single "Choke" to critical acclaim ua-cam.com/video/TlOy0XbFVlM/v-deo.html . Followed by a new release roughly every month through to Sept.
On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date.
Starting on the 18th of Feburary 2022 The Warning started out on their previously twice cancelled North American Mayday Tour. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. In Mexico City on March 18, The Warning got to open
So now you've been WARNED! I hope you will check out more of their music and see how they have grown. Here is a recommended viewing list to see their evolution:

Woo hoo!! The Warning. You can already see the devotion of their fans here. The Warning Army (TWA) is a pretty diverse, international cadre of fandom that cuts across soooo many demographics. In the U.S., i would venture to say, the majority of their fans are middle aged men who have been lamenting the death of hard rock in American culture and are super excited to see DPA pick it up and run with it in a way we haven't seen in decades. You'll hear and see a lot of us write about them as if they are our nieces/daughters. TWA is very protective of them, but trying to help get them out to the wider world. We really think that they are the future of rock. Their S. American and international following is generally much more youthful, giving me hope that that there is hope for future growth and success for these ladies.

Without any special sound equipment. Just like that, straight from her body and soul. Which, believe me, are obviously SPECIAL! What a blessing!

Daniela (Dany) on guitar and a majority of lead vocals, Paulina (Pau) on drums and some lead , and Alejandra (Ale) on bass (she sings lead when Dany needs a break or isn't feeling well). Started playing together at 13,11, and 8. Their Enter Sandman cover , at 14,12,and 9, went viral. Ale just turned 18, Dany and Pau will be 23 and 21 end of Jan and beginning of Feb.

I love her singing on these Warning songs ... Show Me the Light, Survive, 23, Dust to Dust, Narcissista and The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade). She's perfect for those songs. Daniela a great singer too of course. It must be difficult to choose which singer should do a song they wrote. I guess whichever singer sounds the best and makes the song "work" like they say in Hollywood. I bet they just want to do what's best for the band. They have special sister band chemistry.

Any midis or click tracks needed, any artwork on the screen behind them, its Pau who programmed all if it in a software program on her laptop. Its what helps keep them tight as a band. I first discovered The Warning back in mid 2015 when they were literally children doing covers and their father was posting videos of them on you tube for friends and family to see the girls progress. It has been well over seven years since I saw a video of them doing a cover of Metallicas Enter Sandman and have not missed a single day since in which I have listened to or watched a video of these amazing young sisters.
In my 63 years of life I have never been so into a band as I am these young ladies. They are simply in a class of their own as no two songs sound alike. They exhibit a very wide range of “styles” in their music, yet at the same time have created a unique and distinct sound that is unmistakably their own. I believe it is impossible for them to produce a bad song.
I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time. If you continue down this rabbit hole I believe you will agree that they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition. Mark my words, these sisters will without a doubt sell out arenas, stadiums, and be invited to headline the biggest music festivals the world has to offer.

It's so great to hear validation from vocal coaches the very things we appreciate as fans about her talents. You do need to listen to The Warning as a rock band and know that Dany, the lead vocalist/guitarist also has a unique and powerful voice. She had never heard this song and the challenge was to learn , play and sing this song in 4 hrs or less. She did it in less than 3hrs and this vid was only her 3rd try. The "YES !" at the end was her expressing excitement over completing the challenge on time.
Its raw , just her and a piano in the family living room .
I think putting into perspective, her performance is definitely better. It blows my mind that this was only her 3rd go at a song shes only heard 3 hrs previous.

You will be happy to learn that all 3 sisters of The Warning have been working with a vocal coach for years and if you watch one of their early covers from 2014 and on, you can clearly see them progress by leaps and bounds.
It is to be noted that this was an Instagram live challenge, where she asked the fans what song they wanted her to cover, the fans chose this one and she came back later that day and recorded it on her phone raw with no artifices whatsoever. She does not have the widest vocal range, but I love the raspiness in her voice and she has incredible volume and resonance, developed from singing lead while playing the drums live on a few songs and singing backing vocals on all the rest.
Like others have said for her sister Dany, the song Choke is great, but to me if you want to compare with a raw video recording like this one, I would suggest her Instagram live recording of her covering Cavetown's Home, see below.

@@reactionsaccount3955 it's knave, but close enough! 😄 maaaan, I miss Carpool Reactions, but it's just not realistic anymore with schedules and locations (JD used to live and work way closer to me). Maybe one of these days I'll start something back up again, I do miss discovering new music - like The Warning!! - and interacting with all y'all in the comments 🙂

Rewatching this while waiting for my truck to get realigned. You brought up her commitment. 🎯
These sisters, there are three, are truly the penultimate personification of that word. When you see this beautiful soul's mastery of the drums - whilst singing - you'll understand how much you nailed it with that description.
Check out Survive from even earlier, when they did a TEDx Talk. Both Pau and Dany trade lead on that one. Or Dust to Dust which stars Pau but features an AMAZING vocalization by Dany at the end. If not first at least to go back to after watching what they are doing now.
I'm unapologetically obsessed with these ladies. They are on point always and their message reflects that. They're also the nicest, most wholesome young ladies you'll ever meet.
    Anyway 'nuff said.
Please do more soon, you're reactionalysis was a joy.
    ✌️💖🎼

Apart from being a very talented Singer and songwriter plus being able to play keys and is an absolute beast of a drummer she is also a lovely person, so are her sisters Alejandra and Daniela!
The band are one of the youngest bands that’s ever had this degree of talent, all of the bands they’ve toured with this year have been of the same opinion that they’re world class!
Lzzy Hale of Halestorm was so impressed with them when they toured with her at the finale of the tour she presented Daniela with her Gibson custom guitar and told her to play it loud and hard!
I hope you enjoy the follow up of them as much as you enjoyed this; it always renders me to tears, regardless of how many times I hear it!

You so nailed this analysis -Pau is FEARLESS! With her two sisters The Warning Band is fearless as well. The passion, emotion and energy that these young ladies provide in every single performance they do - truly incredible. You will never be disappointed.

The best thing is that there's no autotune, which would be impossible because it's recorded on the same mic as the piano.

She’s an amazing artist. I’m definitely intrigued by what she could do it at such a young age, even though I don’t really know how old she is it’s clear she’s like a teenager. She does have a variety of things she does, with her voice, in order to interpret the story. That’s incredible for somebody her age. And her voice is so powerful and full, not just when she’s belting but of course, especially when she’s belting. Her technique is so interesting and I love it when she lets the raspiness come in. She really seems to understand what she’s talking about as well. Which is great for a song that she just learned in four hours. Particularly for a non-native English speaker.

I would recommend watching Pau and her sisters' band, The Warning, performing their original song, "Survive", at a TEDx conference in 2017. 14 year-old Pau shares lead vocals with her sister, Dany (16), in this song with sister Ale (12) singing backup. ua-cam.com/video/eWg1Wwrm99o/v-deo.html

If you're planning to add The Warning to your list I would highly recommend MARTIRIO and CHOKE as it highlights Pau's older sister Dany's vocal range, if you want to see Pau primarily singing lead I recommend DUST TO DUST and NARCISISTA, and if you want to see the 2 sisters singing on the same track I recommend ENTER SANDMAN, DISCIPLE, *EVOLVE.
(*) I put an asterisk on EVOLVE because it's just Dany singing and the other two, Pau and Ale, are backing vocals but Pau pulls out something crazy at the end which is why I recommended it.

Great reaction, Bethany! As I subscribe, let me leave you with three recommendations of Paulina singing lead with her band at three different time periods, for comparison (all on The Warning's channel). At age 11, performing their cover of AC/DC's "Back in Black" in their basement studio. At age 15, performing their song "Show Me the Light", live @ Dakota Bar, a song she wrote at age 13. And at age 18 or 19, the official lyric video of their song "REVENANT". Thank you for this reaction!!
