Hi Ron, serious question would love your advice... I'm currently mid teens and have a fairly narrow palate (39mm with crowding of front two teeth and bottom four) would you advise i get a palate expander... not something like MSE given i believe im still young but something like the tooth borne acrylic ones? What advice would you give, many thanks.
As a teen you would need a bone-borne appliance. Toothborne should only be used for kids 8 and under. I got a custom marpe and it’s honestly not that bad. You don’t even feel the screws. It’s just when the suture is splitting you’ll experience pain but after that it’s smooth sailing
@@MrTicticmanwhat was your intermolar width before having marpe? Mine is 40mm and multiple orthodontists rejected the idea of giving me marpe /mse despite having a narrow airway as well as airway issues.
Get spartan helath gum and chew daily for years don’t get surgery
@@soggra3323 my imw was 40-41mm now it’s around 49-50. It’s not about what your imw is absolutely. It’s about what it is relatively. If it’s too small for your tongue, you have prominent buccal corridors, your nose is restricted because nasal volume is too small etc

@@MohitYadav-ee2jj The person talking to jawhacks in this video was taking steroids. If he could just accept his true self he would not have the need to take steroids and want to change his face drastically just for ego reasons not even for health (steroids are bad for health)
