Super great tutorial! Beautiful tulips! I learned a lot from watching this. About colour mixing, making shadows and how to make the tulips look like real tulips. I will definitely try to paint tulips tomorrow. Beautiful colours. I have wanted the St. Petersburg (White Nights) watercolours for so long. But they are insanely expensive in the local art shop here where I live, so I will order them from maybe Amazon or Jackson`s later. Could I please ask, is the paper completely dry again when you start painting, or is it still damp from the water? Nice technique, I will try to do that. Thank you so much for making this tutorial! : )

The paper is dry when I work. The paper was on a roll, I straightened it with water only.

I use music with a free license from the UA-cam library. Unfortunately, this old project is not saved, I can not see the name.

The site of the brand "Newskaya Palitra" does not give an exact explanation. I think that "White Nights" and "St. Petersburg" are one product. I bought a very long time "St. Petersburg", recently I was given a set (already open). I think it's the white nights "White Nights". And the quality of the paints is the same. Also we have the colors "Leningrad". They are the same. I think they differ only in the bundle.
There is also a series of "Sonnet". This product is cheap and the quality is worse. I did not use it myself, but I got feedback from my friends.

Nevskaya Palette Watercolor "White Nights"
I wish you inspiration, you will succeed. In this lesson, you can use other colors, this is not particularly important in this case.
But yes, there are things when it is very important which pigment is used.
