Great one! Will you make a how to play video for this one?
Sure I could probably throw one together in a few weeks!!
@@thedankriffs Great!
@@thedankriffsthat would be awesome indeed
@@thedankriffsdude you totally should, that would be so great
you make a how too and ill love you forever
In the queue!
Very cool guitar. Is it a custom-built or an official Dank guitar? I couldn't find any info on Goole. What is the scale length?
It's my own custom build! The three different ones you'll see on my channel are all 25.5"
@@thedankriffs very nice! But, how can you intonate a 25.5" guitar to double-drop D? Are you using an octaver or pitch shifter? Ethan McCann is using a Rivolta Mondata Baritone (28" scale) to play that song.
@@MatEffect that's right! I tune this guitar to drop B, then use the Helix Polycapo to drop it the rest of the way.
A baritone version is next on my list to build, I'm thinking multiscale 27" but TBD!
@@thedankriffs Cool. What about a multi-scale 30"? or 28"? That would be a new prototype in the 6-string world. I have seen multi-scale 27" 6-string, but metal-looking, not tele or jazzmaster, so could still be novel. Once you demo it I might buy one :)
@@MatEffect hm that would be interesting, maybe go 28-26 multiscale. I'll have to do some playing around!
So just so I understand you are tuned to D standard but a full o time down
That's correct!! Hitting that second lowest open string like mad!
