I always enjoy this channel. These characters were both right for their time. We can't really see the future, we can only see our past and hopefully discern between the two. This is a very interesting utube video. Thank you!
Such great content. I always veered heavily towards Huxley, though in late 2020 I find Orwell making great gains. All the smart money seems to be on both. I hope I'm wrong. At least I don't have children. (To breed or not to breed,, etc blah)
I fear Huxley's vision is coming to pass: "As he saw it, people will come to love their oppression, to adore the technologies that undo their capacities to think." Throw in the lack of nuance and we're in for real trouble. Fortunately we have our books!
@@LITTIPS I've always been something of a nerd for Media Ecology studies which as Postman illustrated tends to veer towards Huxley, but I doubt it's an either/or thing. China's frankly terrifying 'Social Credit System' seems to be doing a great job of melding the two approaches, and a neo-luddite rebellion doesn't seem to be gaining much traction. We could all Vote using the Off button at any time but most (myself included) seem to prefer ranting into the abyss of another screen to the solitude of paper. Which leans back towards Huxley I guess. Anyway thanks for such solace amidst the deluge of too many martians. Perhaps misanthropy won't prevail. For now it's back to reading Emil Cioran to cheer me up. Best wishes.
This is what the world is all about. Seek ye first the kingdom of GOD. Jesus Christ is the son of GOD/GOD in the flesh. Change your ways and follow him. Give your life to him as he has bought you with his blood when he was crucified for you. He is risen and can and will save you from destruction if you will have faith in him. Or there is the alternative to pick a side in the worlds system. You have the choice GOD has given it to you to make.
Yes, you O.K. I think the after I had a version of my "Brave New World" in my life I wanted to suicide me... GOD saved my life now my life is so much better. But if my life gets worse I have the tranquillity that I have GOD in my heart and this is the best thing that passed to me.
My dude this video should have more than 3k views, great production and super pertinent subject. Good job!
Thank you for sharing. Well done
Fantastic summaries and comparison.

There is no contradiction between Orwell and Huxley . Just look around !!

@Ice Cube I agree.
