I feel everything he said, I am white and grew up in nyc and have mixed friends with my best friend being Latina and Black, people in this city become your closest family, you get a diff insight into every culture and race and you don’t see color or religion any more, my friends are my heart and my family and I don’t know if it’s a nyc thing but me and my friends don’t see each others’ color or religion, and we can openelu discuss our struggles and injustice openly but that’s is what we all need and we always say this racist shit is getting corny, my nephews thank god are even more open to love and just loving people for who their are and that gives me hope, but when you live in this city your closest friends and family are mixed from everywhere and that’s what makes us better and I am not trying to be corny but we need all of us to fight for each other so it’s not just him but we are out there and not just hipsters but real New Yorkers who root and take care of their friends and neighbors that’s why what is happening now with this administration is so disheartening to us
