Picked up a year old '09 with 17k miles. Drove it til 2021, when it had 211k miles. It was still getting 37 mpg driving at 80 mph, burned no oil and the only repair/maintenance was fluids, tires and brakes. I'd still be driving it, but a semi did a low speed number on the rear quarter panel. Easily the best car I've ever owned in 70 years of driving.
Bought my 2008 in 2020 with 91k on it for $3700…I drive it roughly 80-100 miles a day depending on where I’m working..just rolled over 174k on it and the thing is a tank…wouldn’t be afraid to get in it and drive it on a 1000 mile trip tomorrow..so far the best work car I’ve owned by far
I just bought a 2009 lx coupe with 184k miles for $2800 I can’t lie it’s so fun and light, I love how it takes off pretty fast and takes turns easy. Definitely not as fast as my ctsv wagon but excellent gas mileage and just looks so damn good in white
i bought an 07 civic lx earlier this yr @ 145k miles, it's been the most reliable gas saving car i've ever owned. so many ppl claim to go past 300k even so i'm excited and feel safe and secure owning a car i know won't let me down when i need it. thumbs up from me
Awesome. I have a 2008 LX 4 door. 165k miles on it. Looks and drives like brand new, no peeling paint luckily. I bought it used in 2019. Single owner before me, all service done. They even did transmission drain and fills every 35k. I expect this thing to last another 10+ years. Very nice daily driver! Great mileage. I bought it to keep miles off my 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser that has 85k currently. I only use the truck when I need the cargo space or for winter / bad weather. All I've done to the Civic is keep up the fluid maintenance, and I put in new spark plugs, front rotors and pads (last owner put new rear brakes on the year before I bought it), and I did need a new starter a few years back, and I probably need a new battery soon). Overall, it's amazing. Bought it in cash for 6.5k out the door. Hadn't had a car payment in over 10 years, and I expect another 10 + years with these 2 vehicles!
Bought my 07 exl coupe for 2k last year. Had to spend a few thousand on regular maintenance items (thermostat, o2 sensors, brakes, rotors, calipers, struts, tires). But, it's 💯 now, and I gotta say, I am absolutely in love with it. I also own a brand new f150 that I never drive because I'd rather be in my honda
Fuel pumps are an issue on these?! Whaatt? Also, newer cars dont do much better than 26/36 mpg. Any that do have the trash small engines with a turbo and or cvt transmissions
Probably spark plugs need to be changed on your car. I own 09 Civic with same color and 168k on the dash, and I have to say it has a great pick up for a small car.
I disagree with the part with the passing ability of this car. I have an exhaust leak and this car can still easily pass a car, its nothing fast but it definitely has some pick up.

What a pro; even a bee can't throw you off script, just a little " There's a bee." Then back to business!
That's a *darn spiffy* car!

E15 gas okay to use in 08 civic?
Nice one bro 👍
Yours might not have a perfect trans. Might need to change its oil to make it shift a lot better
The looks of this 8th generation is by far the best of all Civic generations. The 7th generation is ugly
Fantastic review
