An animal was reported missing from its enclosure at an undisclosed location near Lone Pine State Park. Authorities are confident of a swift recapture, but public cooperation is requested. Residents of Flathead County and the surrounding areas are advised to avoid traveling at night and to carry a light source.

The fact that there was an abrupt audio glitch that was akin to a jump scare was brilliant because, in that moment, it struck a bit of fear into the people listening, which then attracted the Boogeyman to their location.

the fact that its toned down to "avoid an adrenaline rush" is amazing.
It makes it sound a bit like a lullaby which can temporarily delay a fear response on listeners

Personally, I found the little jingle before the EAS added onto my anxiety. I don't know if anyone else felt that way, but it was eerie. That being said, I would most likely not survive 😅
It was so calming it was creepy

This seems like an extremely realistic containment breach of an scp that was within a foundation site, the information communicated feels just right for protecting secrecy
“And 7 others unidentifiable” is terrifying bc they usually say John or Jane Doe which gives them a bit of humanity but if they don’t call them John or Jane I can only imagine how badly disfigured they might be

God I was so scared this was going to be SCP 15 (The pipe nightmare) and not this one. A EAS scenario with that one would be horrifying. But this one was pretty good!

Alert world somehow nails the upload schedule, this was released at about 3am for me, so it adds a spooky mood, but apart from the atmosphere, the fact you woke up in the middle of the night adds some immersion, making you feel like the EAS alarm is actually happening. Keep it up!
I'm still experimenting but surprisingly (or not) many people actually like me posting it at that time.

As a resident of Montana this sent me chills! I've been in that county before. Also I appreciate the detail for enforcing the no guns rule; because there definitely would be a hunting party if not

Though a detail I have noticed is I have never heard that EAS warning sound be played in Montana nor the logo. But I think it really fits!

Also it is sometimes illegal to use valid eas tones.

The alarm that plays at the beginning of each message resembles a lullaby, the normal blaring alarm would scare people , cool detail
I would get more scared from the lullaby cuz its so different

even having the idea of a monster that quite literally smells fear is very cool and i love it. i do find it funny tho that the EAS guy is just like

(this isn't critique or anything of the sort, just fun speculation) I feel like they would get volunteers to read out the Emergency Alerts to be less intimidating similar to what they did with the EAS tone, it'd be so soothing if it felt like the voice reading out the alert was an actual human
EAS alerts usually need to be given in a timely manner, which is why they use TTS.
Sometimes regular old EAS tests are prerecorded, but usually not.

I wonder if the glitches and super creepy line were intentional, to keep the creature in the area. Also love the detail that it was the foundation that alerted everyone. And the slip later of ‘containment teams’ was natural and believable.

I think this video should have been more like what The Volgun did with SCP-2521.
As it is an infohazard, he transformed the regular talk by Dr. Miller into a children's story, so it would not give direct info on 2521.
Something like this would have been interesting for this scenario: overly infantilizing the threat, while, as time goes on, the broadcasts get more serious, as people not respecting the creature leads to them acting carelessly.
From "this animal may look rather mean and dangerous, but it is actually totally harmless! It's skin is warm and soft, and it likes to steal ice cream from resident's homes" at the start, to a proper EAS at the end saying "you must not be afraid or worried. It can smell you. You can not kill it. Do not go out at night. Keep the lights on at all times. It drains the adrenal glands of it's victims. Previously broadcasted information was partially and/or entirely false, as to not aid it's hunting."
something akin to the last thing you said, about the "falsified broadcast", reminds me of the scp video by this same channel. i think the number is 965. but it starts off telling the citizens to cover windows, then to break them, and then double backing, warning citizens that breaking windows will make it ten times worse and anyone found breaking windows will be terminated

The power plant going out hinted towards the fact that all the lights going out most likely meant that everyone got scared when they did, drawing the SCP to them.
Also, the slight distortion of the TTS speaker was a nice touch.

Out of all the current scenarios on this channel, I'd like to say this is probably the most creepiest and most spine-chilling scenario. Really gets the _adrenaline rushing,_ eh? (That was horrible.)

These eas scenarios make me always expect a jumpscare, a small one happened. I get somewhat lighthearted when I watch these, even at school with lights on.

Dude the music that plays when the eas starts is just the creepiest
I really like the emergency announcements where the viewer is given vague or limited information about the monster/ world changing event. I would have crapped myself if the announcer kept saying “be not afraid” lol. This one is really awesome, keep up the amazing content bro ❤️
EDIT: The little creepy warnings the announcer gives like “it tastes your fear, it likes it. Do not me afraid” is a really great touch. If you make more emergency alerts like this one, you’re channel is gonna blow up like crazy ❤️

Alright I’m amazed. I love emergency alert systems and when you tie SCPs into it…mwa. So I wanted to ask how you make the alerts. From the voices to transitions etc. I don’t mean to copy your work but just make my own alerts for fun (not to publish). I think they mad that “alarm” that the broadcast played were supposed to calm people.
The worst part of these EAS videos is how the threat just keeps escalating…you look to these messages for instructions ensuring your safety but the threat just gets worse and worse.
