I don't go to places where radio is played a lot anymore so I don't have to worry if the track became a hit that's gonna drill into my ear and actually break out of the other. A lot of gorillaz music I overplayed tho. I still love them but it just gets to the point where I wish I could listen to them for the first time again and get the eargasms I once got from them. I've been waiting for the day I would get those eargasms back but I think I eargasmed the entirety of my wax. They need to drop more good music that's just as memorable as their old material. Humanz was a disappointment for me since I didn't find myself really coming back to that record as much as everything else.
I listen a lot of Radiohead more than I should probably. The overplayed songs are also a problem, specially with pop Artists such as Adelle, Beyonce, Lorde etc...
I hate that when you love an album and you listen to it with your boyfriend or girlfriend and then you break-up and then you end up hating it cause all it does is remind you of them. That's happened to me with entire bands. Ruined!
