Thankyou so much sir my brand new dell g15 has its bottom bezzel coming off a little like 2-3 inches! Could u maybe tell me if it will be repaired for free by service centre as i have 3 years warranty?😊
It's a common problem. I would try to talk them into sending you a free replacement bezel. If they won't send you one, then you can buy them all day long for 12 bucks and put it on like in the video. I am surprised they haven't learned how to make a bezel that can withstand being gripped hard without coming apart. Good luck with it.
You won't find just the rubber. You need to replace the whole trim as shown in the video. For nearly any model, it's best to just search on the model number and display trim and you will get many sources to buy from. Example: search on "dell e6540 display trim" , and you will see many examples. I hope that helps.
where can I buy it? can you kindly give any information? I'm from Bangladesh and my laptop has same problem as well as it gives kind of electrical shock when it's on charge.
hey thankyou for the tutor.. im currently having the same issues on my dell latitude e7240.. i just want to know of what keyword i could use in order looking the replacement this rubber display thingy from the online market
Idham Rafy Labha: I'm glad you liked the video. For the E7240 I added a link that should get you in the right direction. It's a very similar bezel with same install process. Thanks for the question, I hope that helps.
sky: The only adhesive used in this video came with the new replacement trim. I did not add it. If your new replacement trim piece comes without the adhesive strip, then yes, you could use a thin double sided tape. Thanks for watching and for the question. I hope that helps.
I appreciate that when i did a simple search of "replace laptop screen trim," a video to my exact model was the first thing that popped up 😆

There are references in the video description that should get you started finding a replacement. I am not familiar with your charging issue.

I'm having this rubber peeling from my Dell Inspiron 15R 5520
The 5520 appears to be a bit easier. I don't think there's an adhesive strip. Good luck with it.
@@ScubaMotoany way out solution other than part replacement?
Even he best glues didn't last more than a month. The 5520 trims are less than $20, so that's my recommendation.
Can some one give link for dell5368
