Hey bud. Thanks for showing an actual disassembly, and not pre-disassembling it like so many other videos do. Your video shows exactly how difficult it is to remove the front bezel. It doesn't magically just come off like other videos would have you believe.
Thank you so much @Brue Computing. It gave me the confidence to take off my fully functional 720p matte screen to swap for 1080p matte. The viewing angles are noticeably better. For anyone watching don’t be scared to remove the blue spacer I thought it was the connector it just has some glue on it but I needed it to put on the new screen after reattaching screen cable. Thanks again!
hey, i was thinking on doing the screen upgrade on my latitude, but trying to know if there's any compatibility issue i should be aware about. Could you recommend me some compatible screen models for it?
thank you for this Video I fixed my laptop of Company E5540 the old screen start to a black point and increase by the time . now I changed in agreement with this video and my laptop running good
I want to use an e5440 with an external vga monitor, and be able to leave off the internal monitor completely. I tried this with a n4110 and it would not boot without the monitor. Would you know if the e5440 will work without the internal monitor? Thanks.
i have the dell latitude e5530 with broken screen and used the screen from e5520 for it but the blacklight not working and when i return the broken screen to e5530 no blackligt too Even though it both working with another laptop whats happen is motherboard gone ?
Can someone clarify if the connection (flex cable) is standard, can I get another screen of the same size? or Does it has to be the exact same original part number? I can't find info on what screens are compatible with my laptop which came with SKU: 9FN4Y, what can I use to replace it?
+Alexander G I don't know I'm afraid - system I did was already a 1080p panel. In theory if there is no difference in the motherboard or display cable between 1366x768 and 1920x1080 models then it should work just fine, but I don't have the service manual to hand at the moment to check.

Hey, Thank you for sharing this video. Is this a 30pin screen or 40?

You can get the screen from any laptop that uses 14.0" screen with 40 pin connector and the holes in the corners.
Is That display 30 pin ir 40?
30pins should it be > for the 40pins the connector is at the bottom right
Thank you so much, it was very helpful for me!
Would be more complete if you showed how to install it next.

Hi. What is the chance to upgrade this to 1920x1080? Will that work straight away? The pins number is the same as 1366x768.
