When I trying to froth cold Oatmilk, I do not get a froth. Any suggestions?

Which frother attachment are you using and which oat milk? I find an oat milk like Plenish will not froth as it doesn’t have any oils in it but most others are good!

@@Gemtakesfoodpics I use Planet Oat Oatmilk and the metal frother attachement

@@dixierussell9678what are the ingredients in that oat milk? I notice this impacts the froth the most

The ingredients are oat milk, calcium carbonate, dipotassium phosphate, natural vanilla flavor with other natural flavors, guava gum, sea salt, Jellen gum, vitamin A, vitamin D, two and vitamin B 12

@@dixierussell9678 Hmmm. I'm not sure. I'm no scientist, but the oat milks here in the UK typically have some sort of oil in them to help them froth. If you try one like that or opt for a coconut cream x oat milk that may work better

How was the temperature of milk? I am debating if I should get this or Breville since Breville can adjust milk temperature, but it's more expensive.

You can’t adjust the milk temperature on this except to be hot or cold froth, but I found the temperature to work well for hot drinks, was hot enough if I was just going to have hot milk on it’s own. I make hot chocolate with it and the chocolate powder dissolves into it no problem. I think if you want specific temperatures, then you may want to go with the other one you’re looking for but if you want a great quality, non-adjustable, quiet milk frother - this one is fantastic and the froth it makes is amazing. Hope that’s helpful!

I’m confused why you only demonstrated with oat milk and asked viewers to imagine what it would do to real milk. Otherwise pretty useful. I think it looked like the nespresso level of froth tbh, but there’s no real milk comparison so I’m left guessing.

Sorry for not sharing regular milk, we had oat milk at home, so this is what I used. I am happy to let you know what it's like with real milk, if you want me to try it out? Regular whole milk typically froths even better than plant based milks.
