I am a tea drinker. I have had the Bodum water kettle since 1990. However, the heating element has stopped working, and I am in the market for a new kettle. Thank you for your thorough review.
After watching a comprehensive kettle review on Swiss TV, I was quite upset I couldn’t find the Xiaomi kettle in Canada. On the other hand, I had seen this Zwilling kettle sold locally but beyond finding it beautiful, I didn’t know anything about it. Thank you for this comprehensive review! It’s an expensive kettle, but for the tea lover I am, I believe it’ll be an useful tool!
Yes, if you like tea, all the different settings are fantastic! I absolutely love it... and I've seen it recently came out in glass - which looks amazing! Thanks for your lovely feedback and let me know if you end up purchasing :)
I Just discovered this kettle yesterday as I was on the hunt for a new kettle stainless steel so healthier option ( I had a plastic one before 😟) And I made my mind this is the one I will be buying! Thank you for the review
Ah that’s amazing news! I absolutely love ours, it’s so handy with the programmable features and that it tells you what temp it’s at. Also looks beautiful. I’ve got a discount code in the description if you want to use that for a little money off. Thanks for your lovely comment :)
Hey thank so much for this detailed review! Just as a suggestion, if this a sponsored video let the audience know at the beginning. Other than that, it was great!
Hello! I have this kettle myself in the rose color and am loving the coffee setting for the perfect temp to brew with my french press. Just curious if you know what the other settings are good for with the programmed temps? Can’t seem to find it….
Hi! Thanks for your comment - I had a look at the website and it says the following: 40°C - for baby milk and food. Bottles can be simply brought to the desired temperature in a bath of water. Stay warm feature - when activated, the stay warm feature maintains the desired temperature for up to 30 minutes 60°C - for delicate drinks, such as green or white tea, that shouldn't be brewed at boiling temperatures 70°C - for drinks that shouldn't be prepared at boiling temperatures, such as Oolong 80°C - for instant drinks such as instant coffee or Mate tea 93°C - the ideal temperature for freshly brewed coffee 100°C - boiling hot water Hope that helps :)
@@Gemtakesfoodpics Thank you so much, that helps! 😃 Really liked your review, as I did not realize that it flashes between the various temperature points when it’s getting to the desired setting.
@@annbann1 Thank you!! Yes! It's very cool, isn't it? I love that also as it cools, you can also see what temp it's at so that if it's still hot enough, you can continue to use rather than re-boil or heat.
Of course!! Totally depends how much water you fill it with. The most you can fill is 1.5l so you can estimate adding that on to the total weight! Hope that helps :)
@@Gemtakesfoodpics thank you for the reply!! I wasn’t able to find the weight of the kettle (the top part that we actually lift) online.. do you happen to know by any chance?
@@yeocho Oh I get you! So according to the website, the Enfinigy Pro weights 1.7kg so I'm guessing the top part is closer to 1.3kg (which is the weight of the non-Pro kettle). Hope that is useful. If you tap down on the website where it says specifications, you can see all the details :)
I’m not sure if it can be deactivated (I will ask the brand) but as you can see, when the temperature goes goes up, the lights go on for each temperature level, so you could stop the kettle just before it beeps, too.
@@xmmtyx.j3119 you cannot disable, you can check manual of the kettle online. I think you probably can disassemble the base, and stick some Patafix to the 'speaker,' to make it less noisy, as I did with my bosh kettle :)
There is plastic that surrounds that filter that comes in contact with water, need to get ones without any plastics that comes contact with water, BPA free doesn't mean anything, there's ton of other harmful plastics that leech into water with high temps and that are harmful for your body.
Hi - thanks for your comment! Which plastic around the filter are you speaking of? This kettle does not have a filter within it, and the inner body is lined in Stainless Steel. Thanks!
@Gemtakesfoodpics i see filter thats on top, it has plastics that surrounds it? ...with hot vapor some of the chemicals from that plastic can get into your water....
@@aleksandrawieprzycka1879 Hello! I have just tested this today. It is 5mins and 10 seconds from pressing the boiling temp button with the kettle filled to maximum capacity at 1.5L.
Response time on selecting temperatures are too slow, you literally gotta hold your finger on it to activate it really? ....better to get regular one Thanks for reviewing.
Sorry for the delayed reply. For someone who drinks tea or prefers specific temperatures, I think it's a great feature. If you simply want boiled water and are in a rush, another option may be a good idea. Zwilling have another Kettle without the temperature settings which looks just as nice.
Hi Jason, thanks for your comment! If you go to the product page (linked below) you will be able to click through the images to see close ups of the kettle outside and inside. Hope that helps! here: www.zwilling.com/uk/zwilling-enfinigy-electric-kettle-pro-silver-53006-003-0/53006-003-0.html
if you look at what they're selling now they changed out the filter to be plastic instead of metal. Less than a year since this video has been posted and they already made such a drastic cost cutting measure. Zwilling doesn't have my vote of confidence.
Hi! Is that the same kettle that I have in the video? Looking at their website, it's still a metal filter, so would be curious to know where you saw this? Thanks!
@@Gemtakesfoodpics@limyohwan The official website still has it in stainless steel, and so did the shop where I bought it today. 100% stainless steel filter. And it really looks premium quality all the way. 🙂
@@Gemtakesfoodpics Nice! Yes I think I will enjoy it too. At 25% discount like I had, I think it’s really a bargain for those who want a quality kettle (even at the standard price, but not everyone is ready to put that money into a kettle). I now have to return the other one I had bought, as the quality looks bad - and even worse now, next to the Zwilling. 😄 Sounds a but like a promotional talk, but I’m genuinely impressed! 😂

Nice video. Is there an indication about what the current temperature of the water inside the kettle is while it is not being heated?
Yes, as the temperature drops while it’s not being heated (after being heated), the different temperature will light up so you know what it is.
