Email your suggestion in and hopefully maybe you will get your wish.. and if you don't get it the first or second time, just keep emailing it in and I'm sure eventually one day it will come to pass and you'll get your wish my friend because almost 100 people liked your comment suggestion as well so you're not the only one who wants to see it done. *I'll do you one better too and start emailing in myself the exact words from your comment as well. Comon, if we are all helping get this suggestion to the email address for the show they can't ignore all of the emails forever.
You can tell their getting tired of wrestling when their talking about old shows again. This is the entertainment that brought me to the Jim Cornette Podcasts. Way older than myself but fun to listen and learn
Milburn Stone once sang with Harry James and his orchestra. (His Gunsmoke co-star Ken Curtis worked for Tommy Dorsey as a vocalist and was also a member of Sons of the Pioneers)
Everytime Corny mentions The Rifleman or Gunsmoke I instantly think about my Dad lol Grew up with my Gparents called them Mom/Dad. All I need now is a Psycho Dad Bundy reference lol
Brian getting the Atlanta one is impressive. Only a year off and he knew that from knowing his history on some of the first women's wrestlers. Impressive stuff
28:36 - "...Have you ever seen The Sheik billed as being managed by...The Grand Wizard...?" Got an answer for Jim and Brian: Late 1972 in Boston TV promos for WWWF wrestling at Boston Garden! Three straight Garden cards they brought in The Sheik: the first one against Chief Jay Strongbow (Sheik won by countout), and then two straight against Morales for the WWWF title (the first one Morales lost by DQ, then in the second meeting Morales won by countout). They used The Grand Wizard as his manager for the TV promos, but Sheik didn't do them, just the Wizard by himself, as Sheik's manager.
Someone already pointed this out in the comments but its amazing how interesting that old wrestling cards from when I was just a toddler up to 30 years or more before I was born can be more interesting than anything going on today. Accept possibly what's going on with Vince McMahon. I thought he would be running WWE long after I was dead and I'm a couple of years younger than Jim. Great show as usual.
Fritz wallock would later become Fritz Von Erich and crazy enough is that Dr. Jerry Graham would later become Jerry Lawler who still wrestles to THIS DAY at the age of 84.
Ummm...what are you talking about??? Except for a few matches in Georgia and Florida under a mask, Jerry Lawler has only worked as a wrestler under his real name. Dr. Jerry Graham has been dead more than 25 years. Jerry Lawler is only 73 years old today, born 11/29/1949. Fritz Wallick was a journeyman wrestler who worked for many years in different promotions. He was NOT Fritz Von Erich, whose real name was Jack Adkisson.
Honestly wouldn't object to them doing GTP this way around from time to time, Brian Last's knowledge of territory history is just about as impressive as Jim's.
I honestly can’t blame them for talking about older wrestling. The product is so bad and devoid of anything that made the industry great yet people want to pretend we are in some big boom period just because more virgins in their parents basement attend shows holding up video game signs.
Stop being a mark & getting all bent out of shape bc someone doesn't like a guy your a fan of!! Did you notice that I never said I had more historical wrestling knowledge?! I never said I could do better either, although it would be hard to do worse than BL!! Irregardless, I can say that I don't like him without saying that I'm superior!! BTW He's a grown man who chose to put himself into the public arena!! This opens him up to people's opinions & criticism be it good or bad!! I'm sure he cares less than you do about what I think, at least I hope he does!! So again, don't be such a mark!! Defending a podcast co-host as hard as you did because I said I don't like him makes me feel very sad for you!!
It'd be cool of Brian would read raw and ppv cards from 94 to 99 when Cornette was in wwf and guess when it was.
It would be really hard to guess the town, though.
Throw in some early 80's house shows like the Spectrum
That would be cool but I think they're just doing cards they have the actual physical program of.

He would crap on each one before his answer choices
Brian's "fuck!" at 17:58 was hilarious xD lol. Gave me Iron Sheik flashbacks.....FACKIN' BULLSHIIIIIIIIT!
You break my heart!

same. those two talking bout the history of wrestling was what drew me in as well
So true. The product sucks nowadays so I get me wrestling fix here!
Dig it, new wrestling sucks ass.
Brian needs "I'm going to get the year wrong" on a coffee mug :D
Almost an hour of Guess the Program is needed at least every other week
Little role reversal but still alot of fun. Thanks Brian and Jim.
It is much more interesting when they talk through the thought process between each match, like Last did with the Omni show.

lol my parents STILL watch it to this day
I love trivia/quizzes and I hate the current pro wrestling product. More of this, please.
I’m listening to Jim & Brian going “wow, all this history. Sports, movies, tv, the whole shabang!” Thanks🥰
Have to say, Brian's doing better at this than Jim generally. And that's not to take away from Jim, they're both amazing historians.
Whole point of Brian being here.
Brian getting the Atlanta one is impressive. Only a year off and he knew that from knowing his history on some of the first women's wrestlers. Impressive stuff
We need a 7 or 8 hour long Guess the program omnibus.

17:59 that would've made me spit out my water if I was drinking any🤣
I'm really enjoying this game! These guys know their stuff.
Dingo the Sundowner. 🤣
Jim is off by a year on these all the time, too. Brian should be fairly pleased with his guesses.
Best segment ever....name that program.... needs a jingle Brian......
I enjoy when we get Brian to speak more on the program, always find it refreshing and funny
He actually knows wrestling history and doesn’t want to discuss wrestlers genitals like other podcasters.
Well it is Brians program
@Reeartse this is the only wrestling podcast i listen to that i take seriously
@@travismcdonald6576 like how everyone wants to know how big batista is

When the podcasts is about to end and then runs another 50mins
Japan kept up with sending young guys to North America for a while we had Kawada here in 1986
They should make a slideshow of the programs so we can see them

BullJimkle.
4:11 I bet he was little and snappy round your ankles
At the Om- ma- ni as they would say back then lol
Rocky and bulwinkle reference in art work? Cool!!!!
corny cackling like a mad man cause Brian is 6 years off the date cracks me up. nerds...said endearingly
Damn, I thought I knew a lot of wrestling. Brian has an amazing wrestling mind
Haha that first one is like vaudeville or something
The plot thickens.
RIP medic #2 C. Hood

I usually do pretty good on these . Not today !!!! I either missed the year or town or both ! dammit . Fun as hell though !
Young Rock will correct Jim and Brian and state the LA card was actually in Hawaii in 1982.
And now here's something you'll really like *rocky vc*
❤great
This is an easy one…from 1933..sure!
The members of the Cult of Cornette do not mind more focus to be put on Brian!
They edited Corny saying "Wildcard B******!" Getting around those UA-cam rules.
Reversal!
Here before John Laurinaitis Trademarks the Phrase ‘P*nis Power’ …

I think this is something I'll really like.
He's done a few of them. The "In the News" segments were great too.
Jim is just a master wordsmith....or perhaps a cunning linguist even?
Hokey Smokes, Corny!
Best part of this, is the Beam advertisement..
Oh man that Michael Jackson bit was unexpected.
Welcome, but unexpected
Last lost
So do I every time I hear him speak. Lol. I hate having to suffer BL just to hear Corny..lol..
Apparently you can do better ... bigshot
@@karmaray4271 ... send Corny an email and tell him you should be the cohost ... your knowledge of everything wrestling must be beyond belief

@@karmaray4271 Brian Last sucks
Guess The Program is a 1000x more exciting than a John Cena return.
I'd rather hear Jim guess them, Brian is a clown...
Speak for yourself.
He’s so unlikeable that it’s insane…
it's no CM Punk, MJF, Bryan vs ZSJ and has orange Cassidy & Japanese wrestlers so I'm guessing forbidden door will be a show cornette will hate 💯
Ya never know lol ok who am I kidding it's gonna be 99% hate. It's just not his thing at all.
Not just Cornette.
he doesn't hate japanese wrestling, he doesn't know them and AEW did nothing to educate their audience.
