I would love to see Amenra and Lingua Ignota make an album together in a way reminiscent of Cult of Luna and Julie Christmas. It would be absolutely crushing. They both make intense and passionate music that would compliment each other well.
They deliver a very giving, relentless, deep, passionate, intense performance. You taking it all in and then needing to express an emotional reaction out is natural.
Thing is, you don’t realise that the insanely heavy section with Lingua Ignota is actually the calm before the actual storm until you get to 6:18. Sheer genius.
Not to often do we hear these gorgeous lines in the live performance of the song, except for in my head.. They make this song one of my absolute favorites of them. Crushing.. Always (en overal).

Would’ve absolutely loved to have been at this show! Seen Amenra and Lingua Ignota live separately and there’s nothing like them! They both make the most intense raw and passionate music happening right now and I would absolutely love it if they collaborated someday! 🖤🖤🖤
This is Levi, the original bassplayer, but whenever he's got a show with Wiegedood, Tim stands in.. You probably saw Tim back then in my opinion, the only good choice as a stand in.
@@SoreniusX I didnt think Levi was even their original bass player at all. But yes, if Tim is tall, thin and has long black hair and a moustache, then I probably saw him yes.
I am so glad the soundguy leveled her mic down at the Dortmund show so we could not hear her. As much respect as I have for her voice, but she totally messes this song. People need to pull their heads out of their asses and stop worshipping every little thing this band does, even if its terrible.
Here i am many years later having a similar feeling. I am absolutely in love with this band and everytjing they do. However the somber vocals that lynn pieters does is the perfect execution you can do for that part. You can barely hear the high pitch vocals but even so it just doesnt fit and isnt as powerful. And its crazy too because kristin hayter either sings or screams and either probably wouldve been better than this

yea i think amenra is the most comparable band to lingua ignota, and i love em both quite a bit
absolutely agree!! so great to see them perform together!
You must be excited for the Emma Ruth Rundle/Thou collab coming
@@FESTIVUSIVDRUMMER : Yes, please.
Something akin to Cygnus would float my boat.
I've probably watched this over a hundred times.
i did and will
They made me cry when i saw them live. Didn't even feel sad or anything, just got tears in my eyes for some reason. Cleansing experience.
swamp naut same. Saw them with Yob. Didn’t know any of their material.. 15 minutes in BAM, cryin
Yes, especially with this song. It reminds me of my grandmother that has passed, and the pain I carry with it..
They deliver a very giving, relentless, deep, passionate, intense performance.
You taking it all in and then needing to express an emotional reaction out is natural.
I feel the same, especially when they play Diaken. Their music is honest.
And the feeling of goosebumps all over your body when you see them live ... quite an experience indeed.
tears.....
came here after finding Lingua Ignota. Good lord this is HEAVY.
If you can ever see them perform live, do it. It's an experience that'll last a long time, in a very positive way.
This is spirit ignited, this is paying homage to every pain we’ve ever felt in the human experience. AMENRA IS CHURCH
I lost my brother who is 37 and i cry all the time when i listen this song:(
Pure fucking art
Pure sorrow
Pure Love
Pure Pain
Thank you...
Nope, Christ was all that ... but humankind has a feel for it ... and THIS is one interpretation! ;)
Speechless, this is one of the most powerful interpretation of Am Kreuz
je suis trop contente d'avoir decouvert cette muisique ca depasse tout cest une revelation
hell yea! Lingua Ignota's interpretation of that part was awesome!
Thing is, you don’t realise that the insanely heavy section with Lingua Ignota is actually the calm before the actual storm until you get to 6:18. Sheer genius.
The storm wasn't the intro? 😂😂 I love this song
Amo a Lingua Ignota!
This goes beyond flesh and bones
13 years this has been my favourite song. Could never stop loving it.
Awesome, I could watch this over and over again. Thanks Andi.
Hi Love its Sdrahcir Mot

Impressionanti. Gods
Wow, an amazing introduction to Amenra. All passion
Listening in aww in silence live @Doornroosje Nijmegen. What a band!
The movement Colin makes at 4:36 is awesome. I think it says a lot without the use of words.
Cathartic is the band's middle name. Lingua adds a redemption arc to the mayhem.

Why she left at the start of one the most badass gig..was expecting her to headbang alongside colin, but unfortunately
they should do this with the original clean singer
i saw them at deserfest london a week ago
wasnt this bass player
how many bass players have they been playing with lately?
whats been going on

It's rude when this music comes on after the IKEA commercial.

I thought her voice was amazing in this. The operatic touch really adds a whole new dimension to this song.
