Old Machines (Thunderjaw, Stormbird, Fireclaw,...) are fearsome, they not waste time and use absolute everything they have to kill you... while new Machines are annoying: Slaughterspine charging charging charging, Tideripper jumping jumping jumping, Slitherfang wiggling wiggling wiggling, Shellsnapper burrowing burrowing burrowing (the most annoying machine)...

SS has very poor A.I. Maybe the worst among all machines. And TJ has the best A.I. (or he on pair with Behemoth).

There were different combinations - normal vs normal, normal vs apex, vice versa and apex vs apex. That's why there were different outcomes.
