We've stayed here before too, Terri and Keith. Don't think there's a better location in New Orleans! As you mention "sophisticated," but right on the heart of the party on Bourbon Street! The history of New Orleans too! We loved walking everywhere there or taking the St. Charles line out to the Garden District and beyond. Beautiful Cathedral in Jackson Square and most importantly the Cafe Du Monde close by in the mornings for coffee and beignets! We didn't have an inclusive package though and never ate there at the hotel. Would love too! Thanks for bringing back the memories! Loved it!
There is so much history in New Orleans that we absolutely loved! We did all the things you mentioned & have many videos to come from New Orleans. We appreciate you watching & have a wonderful Sunday! 😊
Stayed here for our honeymoon 20 yrs ago. 1 yr before hurricane Katrina. Best part? Right outside hotel was a pizza/ daiquiri place😂😂😂😂😂😂. Of course, Desire restaurant as well.
Thanks for the video! We are trying to choose between street or courtyard balcony. We are about the same age, so thought courtyard for a little less late night noise. Although watching a craziness might be worth the noise. Would love your thoughts.
We had an inside room with no balcony so we had no noise whatsoever. It’s definitely worth getting out some at night just to see first hand the craziness that goes on. Would not stay out past 11pm or so cause the later it is the crazier it gets. Personally we wouldn’t want a street balcony because of the noise. It’s constant all night
Actually we did. You have to be aware of your surroundings and belongings because there are pick pockets but over all we felt safe. We did not go out past 9:30 pm however, because the later in the evening the more the crazies come out so we chose to be safe and not go outside of our hotel late at night.
We had a good experience at the restaurant. I’m sorry you didn’t. Their Jambalaya was the best that I had while in New Orleans. Maybe the chef was out or they were having a bad day.
It was amazing! We felt very safe but we did not go out late at night. We went with Collette travel group so we got a group rate. We loved staying in the French Quarter. We walked everywhere.
Hello! Great hotel tour! Love the courtyard area. We haven't visited New Orleans yet but it's on our bucket list. We loved it when the chap said Retired and loving it and that he hopes for that one day. Ditto! 😂 Many thanks for sharing another great video!!! 👍 ❤😍
Thanks so much! It was a great place to stay in New Orleans! The guy in the video was very chatty 😊 he was enjoying the hotel. We appreciate you watching 😊
That looked like a beautiful hotel 😊 Ha ha ha you did meet some nice people, they were very chatty. Thanks for the tour, we hope ypu have a fantastic week 😀
Looks like a great place to visit some time. We've never been ourselves but my little lady across town just loves it there. Her and her husband used to go twice a year. Loved the food. Thanks. Steve
What a beautiful hotel. New Orleans is so much fun, and this hotel is a great spot to be with all its ammenities and its location. Food looked good too.
Brilliant share, I love the walkthrough and the hotel itself.Althugh I have to admit my chances of visiting are slim,(it`s a far way from Europe) it was still a pleasure to watch. Really enjoyed sharing your time with you and looking forward to future shares and to enjoy your adventures thru your lenses.I appreciate the share.Greetings from Switzerland
We are hoping to visit New Orleans for the first time next year and are pretty excited about it. Royal Sonesta Hotel looks like a lovely place to stay. The food at the restaurants looked good. And it is cool that there is a lovely hotel such as this right in the middle of it all in the French Quarter. We just looked at the hotel's website and the prices for a standard room don't look too extravagant. Thanks for introducing us to the Royal Sonesta!

Big question. 🤔 Did you feel safe in New Orleans? I've heard it is a dangerous city.

Thank you so much for the review, I really appreciate your efforts
