- In this video we hike 4,000 meters above sea leavel up Volcan Acatenango to watch Volcan De Fuego erupt every 25 minutes!! Watch as we struggle up an active volcano and are rewarded with the most incredible views of eruptions throughout the day and night!!

Okay I’m glad y’all were real about it 😂 it was so hard!! I still have a super tight hip flexor from this hike 🤣 I also felt sick when climbing to the summit. I didn’t record it but I told drew there was a 60% chance I was going to puke 😅
but you did so well videoing the experience and staying positive 💯
Regardless of the clouds your view still looked good in the end and on the way down 😊

I don’t know about you guys but we slept a maximum of 45 minutes in that tent, and honestly we didn’t even show enough of how rough it was for us to the summit 😅😅😅.
Was so worth all the effort though!!
How much weight were you carrying in your back packs? In pounds
I honestly can’t really remember but it was way too heavy! Just bring essential stuff

I was February to May and did the hike in the middle of May
Hi Kyle and Lauren, 1 Meter equals to
3 feet 3.37 inches. So, 4,000 meters equals to roughly 13,123.36 feet. Planes fly at that altitude. Please drink lots of clear water to combat altitude sickness. By the way you guys make the best videos. I've being following you guys for a while. Guatemala is amazing and it's natural beauty like no other. It is true, Guatemala is the Land of the Eternal Spring. Thank you for sharing your videos on UA-cam Land. I truly enjoy watching your videos.

We packed about 3L of water each and if I remember correctly they didn’t bring any extra water for us but we didn’t ask. I would say 3L is a safe amount! 🙂

Pacaya was a really cool adventure as well! We’ve heard you can even cook pizza on it now, but we also just did the marshmallows

You made it up, well done. Such a tough climb, it was certainly the toughest climb I have encountered. Your weather was certainly better than mine. But you got to see the eruption from your base camp, that was the same as me and it was the highlight of the whole adventure. Well done to you both and great video. 🙂

It definitely was a challenge for us but 100% worth the effort to get views like that! It’s on our list to go back someday and do it again and also do the actual ridge hike as well!
