Shootz brah.. you get em!!🤙🏼
Tackling this job today on my 2001 truck. I really want to know what swivel head ratchet that is??!!
where did you find a replacement seatbelt
Is this a single or dual stage seat belt?
Anyone know what is the part number for the gray interior tacoma?
Why did you disconnect the negative terminal on the battery? Why did you have to wait 20 minutes? Very interesting video!!
If you don’t disconnect the battery you could get shocked, the seatbelt actually has electrical components to it! You wait 20 minutes to wait for the electricity to disarm throughout the vehicle. Thanks for always watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Hey Roy, what part number is this seatbelt? I’ve been looking online for it and I cannot find it. We have the same exact one and I’d like to know where you ordered it from.
I can’t remember the part number for this job BUT I do know I got it from the dealership. Big $$$ but worth it. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Where did you folks pick up the replacement seat belts?
Got the same question!
This one I got from the dealership. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Sir, i have a question why you need to remove the battery connector?
Great question, it needs to be disconnected because they are both a part of the supplemental restraint system (SRS) and messing with the seatbelts may mess with the airbag system causing its to deploy or disable. For example, I had a customer who got into an accident the seatbelts locked up to keep them in their seats but the accident didn’t trip the airbags to deploy but now BOTH her seatbelt and airbags are disabled and the vehicle in unsafe to drive and it most likely needs to go to the dealership to get it reset. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thanks for the information! More power!
I’m very curious where you obtained the part!
I got this through the dealership. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
What does the electric to the seatbelt do?
It's a pretensioner for when you crash.
omg i almost lost my mind trying to take off that little clip on the bottom
Hello dealer cost is over 230.00 where can i find cheaper?
I’d highly recommend sticking to the dealer for this one, there’s a lot of electrical components connected to the ECU that (highly) might not be compatible if you get an aftermarket part. thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I got mine at the dealer, but the first one I called was little more than yours. The second one I called "Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA" was only $164.00
Not sure why the big difference from dealers, but there it is. Good Luck.
2002? lol
HahahHa thanks for catching that! Thanks for always watching too 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
