Will I also need a router I live way back in the mtns and service is in and out i like to get something set up so i can have my cameras and satellite ran to them as well
I have my router and modem in the basement which is right underneath my game console. My console gets 150 download speed even though my internet speed is 350. Would buying this, and setting it up accordingly combined with connecting a Ethernet cable to the extender help at all?
Extenders are great for boosting your WiFi signal out further away from your wifi router/modem where wifi dead spots exist. This way you can get a good solid wifi signal where you had none before. To get faster download speeds from your wifi router/modem it might be best to check with your ISP Internet Service Provider and upgrade your Internet plan.
Suggest doing a reset: By using the RESET button (press and hold for a real 12-14 seconds) while it's plugged into a wall outlet and power is on, then release the RESET button and go through the setup steps again as shown in my video. Also try moving the Extender closer to where your router is located while setting it up, then you can move it if you need to. Also when setting it up double check that you are using the correct wifi password to connect to your router with the Extender during the setting up procedure.
Suggestions: 1) You most likely will need to perform a repeater reset again by using the RESET button (press and hold for a REAL 12-14 seconds) while it's plugged into a wall outlet and power is on, then release the RESET button and go through the setup steps again as shown in my video. 2) Also when setting it up, it's important to double check that you are using the correct wifi password to connect to your router/modem with the Extender during set up or you will not be able to make a connection to your new WiFi Extender or have no Internet connection.

I did all the steps it says connected and everything but there’s no internet on the tp wifi 😫
