Flexible Placement

Note:
• Please place the range extender half way across the router where you get at least 50-60% of good Wi-Fi coverage from your main router The RE LED status on the range extender gives you that information after proper setup.
• Customer can also factory reset the range extender and configure it back again to the router, making sure it is configured properly.
• During the setup process, customizing the SSID of the Range extender different to the main router SSID mostly helps distinguish between the main router’s wireless signal to range extender’s wireless signal.

I paired it with my router and can get wifi on my phone and smart tv but it doesn't show up in wifi list on ps4 and bt tv so can't connect.

I'm looking at this to help my business I do cinema igloo packages in gardens . Would you think this would work . Can it just be plugged in and extend the signal at various customers do I have to put password in ? Cheers bud
You do need the password to there router to connect to the TP link. I guess your using a 4G USB stick into your laptop atm for a signal.
do you need to disconnect from extender then connect to the original wifi when you are far from the extender?
When you want to connect to the original WiFi signal to can connect to the original WiFi signal and it should automatically disconnect from the extender on your phone or disconnect on a PC
Can I used 3 wifi extenders in one building how do I link all 3 together
Is this dual band? Can it do both at the same time? 2.4 and 5G?
Is there anyway of having this so it just boosts the signal with out having to join it , as Iv got an outside camera and don’t want to go up and have to reconnect camera to this
I believe you’ll have to connect to it, You maybe able to get an extend cable your wifi camera antenna that will bring the antenna closer to your wifi router to use and increase the signal (might be worth a try)
If my router is in 2nd floor and I connect the extender through LAN network cable and place the extender in ground floor, so speed will be same as the router?
I would think so since they are connected through LAN network cable.
I've installed the app on my phone and added my WiFi. Does that mean my other devices like my fire stick are now connected even though it's only showing 1 client on the app?
The WiFi extender will extend the WiFi signal, the WiFi will be the same network. The 1 Client is you on the app
you will need to connect your tv or firestick to the new wifi EXT- (your router name) if your looking to use the wifi signal coming off the tp link.
This is just Plug & Play only no need to configure anything to install the driver on the app on the phone or on the PC/Laptop?

Does this boost your wifi strength aswell as when I play I lag on my pa5
If the signal is weak this will improve your signal straight and allow you to have a better connection if placed half way from router to weak signal but when playing a computer game you would most probably be better plugging in a Ethernet cable into your PS5 by using the TP Link power line Extender (I think this might be a better fit for what your looking for)

No, doesn't have to be the same make as the router

No it can be many different routers that this TP link can connect to.

Bro I have one problem , When I connected to my wifi router giving 60mbps speed but when I connected to my tp link extender it gives me only 15 to 20 mbps and i dont know why it drops 50 to 60% in extender
i haven't noticed ill look into it, how many lights are showing on the indicator on the front of the unit?

But it’s even more dramatic. Normally 200-300 mbps download 35 upload. And it drops to 20 download and 25 upload
