TODDLER CHEF | No Sugar-Added Banana Cake | Perfect First Birthday Cake

Welcome back to Toddler Chef with Yitzchak! Yitzchak is 19 months old and we love to cook together. Today we are making banana cake, a no-sugar added recipe that is perfect for a first birthday cake or whenever!
Recipe:
3 very ripe mashed bananas
Juice of 1/2 lemon
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cups buttermilk
¾ cup butter
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients. Combine. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, about 20-30 minutes. Optionally top with cream cheese frosting or plain cream cheese.
