It’s such a all good vibes video. Bless lil girl. ♥️ my son does the same at 10 months, offering his food and then taking it back to eat it. Would have loved to see the pics in the end. 😂❤
So I tried it! Cake baked perfect! However, I had such a hard time with the coconut milk frosting to soften I did add more of the water also but it took forever so I ended up putting in the microwave so it could get soft and I used the hand mixer to break up and whisp and put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to cool down but I definitely didn’t get the same texture as the video any way it still came out lookin cute and I’m very thankful for this recipe ❤
I’m so glad the cake turned out! Coconut milk can be tricky to work with! Some brands work better than others and it has to be full fat. Sounds like maybe yours wasn’t full fat? I used coconut cream which has plenty of fat to make the frosting fluffy. Try coconut cream if you make this again!
Yes, absolutely! You will probably need less all purpose flour though. I haven’t made the recipe with it so I’m not sure the exact amount but I would reduce the amount to maybe 3/4 a cup and see how the batter looks. It shouldn’t be too thick.
Totally! I would pull out the day before and let it defrost in the fridge to keep the texture. It should also be good for about 5-7 days kept in the fridge.
No guilt with that cake and she liked it! Happy birthday Lila! I love the trick with beets to color the frosting.

This was the perfect cake recipe i was looking for! I will make it next month for my daughters first birthday ❤
Wonderful!
Is there anything I can use to sub out coconut oil? This recipe seems like the best one yet!!
Yes! You could use butter, olive oil, a neutral oil, or avocado oil
Super cute! Thanks for the recipe! Any ideas on how to get green frosting for my son's lion cake?
You could try mixing in spinach powder!
Hi, I love your recipe! But can I substitute normal flour instead of oat flour?

@@ThedailybeanWonderful! Thank you so much! My baby’s birthday is less then a month away, can’t wait to bake her one 🥰 Hopefully she’ll like it ❤️
How exciting! Let us know what your baby thinks!
Hi! Did you ever give this cake a try with normal flour? I want to try this recipe but only have normal flour, and I'm curious if it turned out! :)
Going to try this!!
What size are the ramekins you used?
They are 4 inch ramekins!
Hi! Could I use almond flour instead of oat flour? Thanks!
Yes! I would just start with 3/4 cup almond flour and see if you need to add more
Is 4oz same as 4" ramekin?
Hey what can I use in place of the banana ? My daughter doesn’t like banana
You could try adding more applesauce or use pumpkin or sweet potato purée
can you freeze the cakes if you want to make ahead of time?
Totally! I would pull out the day before and let it defrost in the fridge to keep the texture. It should also be good for about 5-7 days kept in the fridge.
Do you think I can sub Avo oil for coconut oil? It’s just what I have and I’d love to not have to run to the store for coconut oil haha
Yes! Any neutral oil or even butter
can i use the same amount of butter instead of coconut oil? that kind of coconut oil is expensive where i live
Butter would work! Just melt it first then measure
@@Thedailybean im also thinking of substituting applesauce with crushed pineapple since applesauce is also not always readily available here.
What can be used instead of egg?
Flax seed (you can find the 1:1 replacement recipe on Google)
