  • This is the first time I’m using Final Cut Pro on the iPad. Had to upgrade my 2018 iPad Pro 11” (Gen1) because you need an M chip iPad for this to work. Got a Gen4 iPad Pro 11” from the July 4th sale at BestBuy that doubled my storage.
I tried to shoot this with the live multicam option while also screen recording on the iPad. It was pretty chaotic and sometimes I lost track on what was happening.
Final Cut Pro on the iPad is great so far. Easy to use. The basic effects for noise reduction and voice isolation are really good.
Shooting live or offline with the Final Cut Camerra app is fantastic. Full manual controls and sending it to the Final Cut for iPad is literally one button press. You can see the transfer progress. Feels like airdrop but no need to store it in photos and import it. Goes directly into the open project that you are editing.
