Super Saiyan 3 and 4 are the coolest and most substantial power-ups from a design perspective IMO. It's much more interesting if the power-ups have something more to them than a new hair dye. Enjoy your holiday with your family.
Oh man, this vegeta is so beautiful crafted, I don't know what is it about GT line, their version is so accurate, really sharp, really well made... I'm a bit worried because it's kinda hard to get him here where i stay, usually i already see new release on my local marketplace, but he's nowhere to be found for now... Hope it didn't get scalp
THIS is what we've been wanting from a Vegeta figure! Like you, I'm not really a GT fan but the articulation and build of this figure is on point. Shading and more of a consistent matte finish definitely would be better but everything else is perfect! I think the slow burn is due to a limited number of must haves. No matter what DB fan you are no one completely hates GT.... Come on they have 7 undeniably great characters that everyone will want. I hope it's a marking strategy to convince the bosses to do a black star wave down the road.

The side profile, the widows peak its all done correctly.. it genuinely looks like vegeta. Too often I feel like his figures come off too soft or fail to capture him in some way. I am very disappointed we haven't had a new vegeta head sculpt in awhile before this one.. I eagerly await someone taking that SS4 head and repurposing it into new super saiyan sculpts.. I think it would be workable/modable in some way.
Have a safe trip mate. This is definitely the best looking vegeta so far and I agree the hips are kinda annoying and also it looks like he is shorter than other vegeta figures but not too bad anyways fantastic review man as always and again have a safe trip.
Figuarts are 2 for 2 with GT figures so far. I agree ssj4 Goku was the best Goku figuarts figure made so far and from the looks so is Vegeta easily. Glad they scaled him to be more accurate to his actual height compared to Goku, head sculpts easily the best Vegeta has ever gotten, best articulation Vegeta has had especially in the legs and ankle department, and his calf muscles are no longer backwards. Only parts holding him a bit back are his sculpted butt stopping his legs going back, the glossy hair & crotch, and lack of shading throughout. But otherwise they knocked it out of the park. Hope we get Omega Shenron, Baby Vegeta, Trunks, and Pan in the future.
Mines coming on Friday from BBTS and I can’t wait. Yeah those legs are a bit jarring but maybe someone will do 3rd party legs, haha. They did cross arms for Goku. That being said if not it’s no big deal. I’m gonna have him posed up anyway. I’m also sort of hoping they make SS4 canon. Not GT but the form.. Frieza being back and the big bad again really makes me hope that the boys go “legendary Super Sayian” to take him down. SS4 is a legit new form. Blue is fine and all but it’s just a color change not an actual form change.
I’m loving these gt release, if they continue to make fantastic anime accurate dbz figures with the sharp angular hair like this , they will make history 😆…I’m excited too because I got both goku and vegeta yesterday 😭…awesome review by the way, keep up the amazing work

looks like he is the same height as the SS vegeta，yet the bulkier arms and legs do make it seem less tall，and that makes this one the best scaled vegeta by far
I'm waiting for April or around that time when Amazon says it will release as at the moment I am getting gifts for others on Christmas. My main hyped figure for me is ssj Vegeta as I missed out on the original as I started late in collecting, but I hope head swaps work well with him as I got a Demonical fit ssj god Vegeta head, base Vegeta from dbs super hero and been pre ordered the ssjb evolution Vegeta Demonical fit as it comes with an aura and I need a armored Vegeta. Hope for more good third party figures in case I miss out on s.h figuarts as it gets super pricey quick
The sculpt is amazing, but imo hes just too short. I made the same argument when Goku released, but SSJ4 adds like a foot to the characters height, Goku ends up like 7feet tall lol. Its obvious they have base moulds for both characters and adding height would cost money to make different molds, but its disappointing and im glad DF seem to be releasing modified versions with more accurate height.
SS4 Gogeta has to be the next GT figure they do. It wouldn't make sense to make us wait for probably the most desired DB figure in this line, period, after hitting us with both SS4 Goku and Vegeta. The only other figure I could see come before is Omega Shenron just to set up Gogeta afterward.
For me this one isn’t as good as goku. He’s too shiny, the thigh joints stick out and he’s not nearly as anime accurate as the promos. That’ll usually be the case but goku was pretty darn close. Although there aren’t any joint issues on this one which is good I guess
People need to stop asking for shading, shading looks awful, all 1.0 figures look awful due to shading, it cheapens the whole figure. Highlights here and there look ok like on the pants, shading looks awful.
I am so happy the GT line is getting some love. Now we need Ssj4 Gogeta, Omega, Baby and Goku in his blue outfit

For sure! All the 2.0 Vegetas are too tall, which is why I still use the 1.0 bodies for display.

Hoping that a 3.0 majin vegeta fixes all the problems of the original release. Dont plan on buying many 3.0s except for figures that were botched.

Years after getting mine and keeping it in package, both ankle joints are cracked.

Only thing knocking it back is that upper leg separation…it just didn’t need to be like that. Otherwise this is better than goku ssj4.
