  • I bought this 1968 Camaro when it only had 84,000 original miles from a guy in Spokane, Wa for a sweet deal. The story behind it is pretty cool. This Camaro sat in a heated garage since 1990. The tires were dated even older than that. The owner had passed away but his wife kept the car stored because she didn't want to let it go.
As the years passed by she came to the conclusion that she was ready to let the car go to someone else rather than have it continue sitting in her garage. So she sold it to a guy who owns a a local hot rod shop. The owner of the shop bought it and decided to sell it exactly as he bought it.
Although his shop specializes in restoring classic muscle cars he was also overwhelmed at the time with too many customer projects and he didn't have room to store this 1968 Camaro.
I stumbled on an ad for this car and it was posted for a more than fair price. When I bought it it was still covered in dust so the shop owner never really even had a chance to see how amazing it cleans up. The Camaro was painted in 1985 and still shines up great.
The car also came with a folder full of receipts dating back to the early 70's. It has the 275 factory horsepower 327 engine and 4 speed manual Muncie transmission. Camel hump "Feulie" heads. 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor with automatic choke. 4 Wheel disc brakes. 12 Bolt positraction rear differential. Rear Air shocks and traction bars. Street legal slick rear tires.
    Hope you enjoyed the video.
