The safest way is to disconnect manually. It leaves no chance for error. BIOS switch might not be completely reliable and you should try it at your own risk.
Hi... want to upgrade my SSD to 1tb and ram to 32 mb and the computer(Lenovo 4T70 thinkpad) already has Windows 11 installed.... Would Windows 11 still be on the computer after the upgrade and if not how would you do so it was? P.S thanks for the video
Thanks for the video! Are the fans in LOQ individually detachable from the heatsink and cooling system? Saw a legion laptop video where the entire cooling assembly had to be replaced just to replace a single fan.
Thank for the detailed video. Some laptop allow a sata hdd to be installed next to the battery as there is a space. is there an adapter to connect a hhd placed there?
If your laptop has 2 slots for SSD, and one slot already has a 512GB SSD, you can install a new 1TB SSD in the extra slot and use both. If you remove the pre inserted 512GB, then the Windows OS installed in your system will also go with it.
If you have Lenovo LOQ, then the interior of your laptop will be exactly the same. Follow the guide which I have shown step by step. You will be able to install additional SSD
does turning the battery off connection at the BIOS would work too, instead of disconnecting it manually?

Haven't tampered around with fans yet. Will look into it.

As far as I know, there is no SATA connector for adding a HDD in this
I have a Question, if i want to install a crucial NVMe 1TB SSD, do I have to remove the pre installed 512GB SSD or can I keep both of them.

Does it support 2.5 internal SSD?
You mean 2.5TB SSD?
Wow! You installed ssd without thermal pads, why
Thermal pads pre installed by Lenovo on the back panel of the laptop. No need for me to install them separately .
I tried so many times but this shit ssd screw just doesn't come out, it just doesnt rotate, i bought 2 screwdriver set already
Use a small plier. Hold opposite ends of the screw and rotate gently.
Thanks for replying so quickly, I used a freaking nail cutter to remove this stubborn screw@@traveltechyoutube
