I had a pokeball loto with 7/10 materials being rare pokeball drops. And then my next one had 5 rare balls. And then my next 3 lotto had 0 Rare ball drops. I guess RNG is a fickle mistress.
I would love to add that there is a great place for AFK Dratini Scale farming that doesn't require any sort of turbo controller or anything. In North Provence Area Two, just west of Firescourge Shrine there is a little doughnut shaped body of shallow water. Make a Dragon Encounter LVL 2 Sandwich (Recipes #45, #85 & #90) And then go to the shallow water area, send out your let's go pokemon, and then cling to the wall on your aegis mount pokemon. Climbing up just a step or two will keep you low enough to draw the Dratini that spawn there to you, but high enough that your let's go won't auto return to you. Now go get up, stretch your legs, make a sandwich IRL, and come back to a bunch of easy Dratini Scales. As Osirus mentioned, It's not as efficient as something like Happiny, but doable completely AFK.
I’m so glad i’m not the only one who knows about this spot it isn’t talked about enough from the community. It is also a great spot to get some very nice pink shinies. I love this spot because I don’t have anything fancy like a turbo controller or anything so all the tricks to farm money etc I’m not able to do but this spot lets me automate the process as a casual player.
Can't rely on this because my pokemon will just randomly stop attacking. Idk if there's a specific spot to wait in or if I have to use a certain pokemon but I can't just afk for results.
Chansey/Blissey are also good for EV training HP stats for competitive. It’s a shame you dont get EVs using the Let’s Go feature, but just battling them gets you the materials + HP EVs + a lot of EXP

Delibird parcels contribute 54%, so you would only need 2 Delibird parcels for 1 print. For 10 prints, you will only need 19 Delibird parcels! This outbreak has a 1/200 chance of spawning shiny Delibird!
@@323ReTrO Each Pokemon material has a weight associated with it, and Delibird Presents are really useful in that reguard as they make over 55% of the weight required to print one item.
@@323ReTrOyou can see at 2:18 that Delibird's material gives 58% to the printer. It's not as good as something like Happiny dust or Beldum claws but assuming you still have the event going you can farm them very easily without a sandwich
I easily maxxed out Eevee and Milcery drops while shiny hunting the entire lines for my sons and I recently. I would highly recommend taking down any outbreaks of mons with higher item printer percentages. Another extremely helpful vid @Osirus , thank you!
I was confused as to why we would need to customize our League Club room. It seemed like an odd inclusion when there were othere things they could have done. THen I remembered the Item Maker and that this essentially gacha, so if I'm going to spend what will likely be many hours satisfying an unrealized gacha addiction, then it would be nice to do it in a very nice looking room.
You can also hit X for Auto Select the items, the game automatically will select the item you have the most. So if you have 999 Happiny Dust, it will keep selecting these only till it's down and match another item's quantity number.
That's what I do usually. I had so many by the time I got the item printer unlocked. I was like, "MY TIME HAS COME!!!" and dumped all my happiny items in the thingy.
Dont just auto select the materials! it sometimes comes up with more % than needed so youre actually wasting material. What I usually do it auto select but not print immediatly, but deselecting some items to get close to exactly 1000% as good as i can
I got really lucky; my third printing after upgrading it to Master Ball level, I got the Pokeball Lotto. I got my first Sport Ball and a Lure Ball, as well as several Luxury Balls and other miscellaneous balls. I also got 3 golden light printings in a row and accumulated 5 Masterpiece Teacups, 2 Amulet Coins, and an Ability Patch. This item printer is the best thing in this game lol.
I’ve been doing something different… If you use a dragon sandwich in the savanna biome, you will get almost nothing but vibrava and flygon. This is a large open area and they tend to spawn in massive groups. Didn’t even take a full sandwich to reach 999 from 0.

Ground sandwich over dragon sandwich. There's a specific spot along the wall between the savanna and canyon biomes that specifically spawn Trapinch, Vibrava and Flygon (they all give Trapinch Shells). Shells are around 45% for fulfillment or so, just autobattle for a while and you'll hit 999 in no time.

I’m super glad I farmed a lot during the ditto event. Made it pretty easy to get to the Ultra Ball stage. I also did likely stockpiled a bunch of Happiny dust because I refused to rely on exp candies during my Paldea journey, and also from the Blissey event.
I've found that just staying in central Savanna Area (north of the plaza) also does quite well. You get your Chansey, but also Magmar (which is one of the four 68% materials), as well as Rhyhorn, Exeggcute, and Vibrava which all give solid percentages as well. You don't even need a sandwich in that case.
Something I like to do is try to get the item printer to use up the stuff that costs the least and then get it as close to 99% and then use either the Happiny Dust or Beldum Claw. Since you can farm Beldum Claws pretty easily with a Psychic encounter 2.
If there isn't a current Mass Outbreak Pokemon, Chansey farming is the way to go. I just dropped 999 Duraludon Tarnish (52 Prints @ 19 items per Print). In the end, I gained a total of 9 special balls from the Pokeball Lotto.

The problem is that deerling, sawsbuck, and smeargle are also normal types and will spawn instead quite often, at the star base chansey and blissey are the only normal types that can spawn.
Pro-tip: Use the synchro machine for farming. It is obnoxious and unfun to stand and try to re-direct your pokemon to attack, but way more fun and probably faster if you just control the pokemon yourself
You can’t use the synchro machine IF you farm chansey/blissey OUTSIDE the terrarium fyi. So you’ll need to be IN the terrarium to be able to farm them, but it’s a little less ideal imo since I think other normal types spawn in its place (I made a normal sandwich and ended up getting tons of doduo and never really saw chansey.)
I won't need special ball drops every single time if it's also gonna give out enough Luxury Balls to not have to restock them quite as often, since they're my preferred shiny catching ball. I only use an apricorn ball when I have really good color match/theming for a shiny if I'm confident/prepared enough to catch the mon in one try, or if it's a tough/rare raid or other special encounter like Ogerpon or Bloodmoon Ursaluna that has a 100% catch rate.
If you have already done the quests for Legendaries, Latios and Latias are a couple of the really fast Let's Go Pokémon. It's a good enough excuse to use a Legendary lol
I actually recommend farming on the left side of the river (when looking down from the pkm center). Much better blissey spawns on that side in my experience!
This is also good for grinding money since the Item Printer prints many sellable items. This is useful for me since I plan to catch all the legendaries in Dive Balls and expensive Luxury Balls.
I think farming Chansey in Savannah in the terrarium is better Also academy shake in the blueberry academy gives you level 2 item drop boost for all types for 100 BP

the event tomorrow with the bird will give 54% item. Farm than for 3 days follow by the even with the dragons where the big one will also give you 54% items
If you don't want fo scroll down every time you can just do 50 sets of 10 using the auto option. This auto selects the item you have the most of and if you use his method, that will be happiny dust. After 50 sets of ten you should have around 250 happiny dust left and your other materials for tms should be safe. At this point you can do the scroll down 7 with the d-pad and then up 1 thing for the rest or you can just go grind more. Hope this helps

from experience, pressing x to auto select always chooses happiny dust which is likely because it's the highest value material that you have the most of
is it possible to get encounter power normal and item drop power normal at the same time? Not really familiar with the limitations of the sandwich system.
Unfortunately, encounter power + drop power seem to be mutually exclusive, except for a few types (not including normal) with multiple people adding ingredients.
blissey has the worst item drop rate though. It mostly gives items you can sell compared to other pokemon like delibird who gave me tons of ability patches.
It's slower obviously, but you can also EV train pokemon at the same time doing this. You just need to encounter the Blissey's and such. It's perfect if you need to raise up a new raid pokemon.

Really depends on RNG. It takes around 333 Chansey KOs at 3x drops to max it out. Varoom has a fast movement speed and KO rate, so they're literally heat seeking missiles in synchro mode.

@@Sherf...It no longer works for me either. I think this is a bug with the overworld pokemon introduced sometime during the DLC.

You can also do the Blissey raids for happiny dust as well. That way your getting terra shards and materials at the same time while raiding 💡

Chansey is in the Savannnah Biome so do an encounter power lvl 2 and farm BP and materials at once! Have fun

You know when you see a shiny you can save your game so if you fail the catch just close your game and re open it a try again

lot better since savannah has other normal types that will get in the way. It's one of the best spots other than farming Tauros Tufts for filler mats.

1 chorizo and 1 mayo gives you normal encounter 1 and is by far the cheapest and fastest sandwich to make.
